We did n't want to spend a fortune on a recumbent bike. We did n't need all the bells and whistles but we wanted the basics. This bike is it! It gets used daily for a minimum of an hour. We would recommend this bike. I do think the calorie counter is off though but I use the screen for timing anyway:) Shipping was awesome, which is unheard of here in Alaska:)

Putting it together required being focused, but it was fairly easy. Once together, it is doing exactly what we bought it to do: getting adequate, easily done exercise for two older folks. I ’ ve got four 45- minute segments and it doesn ’ t give me the same accomplishment from walking outdoors in that same time without turning the resistance past 8 on the 14- levels dial, but I don ’ t miss my outdoor exercise when it ’s 22 degrees and 17 mph wind gusts make walking undoable. Quality of the bike manufacturing is very good. Seat is comfortable and the pedals are easy to secure your foot( adjustable). Pedaling is quiet and the distance from seat to pedal is variable by adjusting the seat height and should satisfy most riders. The bike is very quiet when pedaling so it can be situated in any room available. Overall, A+ so far.

The pedal action is very smooth and the amount of adjustments is ample allowing both my 6' 1 '' and my wife's 5' 1 '' height to be accommodated. It is, however, a bit wobbly. Vigorous pedaling causes the whole thing to sway, although it never feels like it is going to flop over. Overall, a good piece of equipment at a reasonable price.
