These boots are still new but I want to share my experience with you. They are warm but breathable and never too warm. My feet stay dry and odor free. There was never an uncomfortable moment. My feet in socks did not slip in the boots at all, yet they were easy to pull on and off. I did not lose my footing on any surface. Never have I ever thought I would need a pair of Sorel winter boots living in the Deep South. However, life just happens, and here I am, in middle of Wisconsin experiencing negative Fahrenheit temperature. I did n't know that was possible, but it was, apparently. I got this pair right before winter storm came in Wisconsin, so I got to experience how great these are against cold/snow/wet ground. Pros:- Really, really warm. I went outside to go grab some food/groceries, and my feet were warm. It was funny experience because I could n't feel my thighs but I could feel my feet/toes.- Is very waterproof. I like walking in the snow. Did n't have much chance to see snow in regular basis, so I had lots of fun with it this winter. When I came back inside, only my feet stayed dry.- Basically does its job. It's waterproof winter boots. It is waterproof and for winter weather. Design/size:- I usually wear size 8 for tennis shoes. I have high and wide instep, so even though I did n't plan on wearing thick socks, I got 8. 5. They fit nicely. Not too tight where I need to put bandaids on my heel but not too big where I trip over my feet either. Very comfy as well. Walked miles wearing these and my feet were n't in pain. But I advise going with your normal foot size, though. Unless you have high/wide instep like me or wear THICK socks.- They are... cute. Very cute. Got lots of compliments from my friends and my mom. Keep in mind that my mom is very direct with her opinions. When she says they are cute, they are cute.

I have worn nothing but Sorels my entire adult life( I am 67 years old). Went thru several pairs of caribous, have the silver( organza) Tofino for dress, an old heavy pair of Sorels for snowmachining and now the Snow Angel to replace my Sorel Waterfalls. These boots are the same fine quality I have learned to expect form Sorel over the years. I use them to walk/hike/snowshoe- they are great! I wish I would have went down a half size or worn thicker socks. You must wear taller socks so it does n't rub on your skin. I have bad sciatica pain and have to get new tennis shoes for work every 3 months or my back will start hurting. We walked around in the snow off and on all day, up and down hills in these boots and my back never bothered me and my feet stayed warm and dry. Meanwhile, my friend was not wearing sorel boots and she kept complaining her feet were cold. I am now researching sorel sneakers to wear to work. I really hope that the sneakers are just as comfortable as these boots. I am normally a 9. 5 in most shoes( except athletic tennis shoes, but I got a 10 in these boots so that I would be able to wear thicker socks. I probably could have gone down to a 9. 5, but didn ’ t want them to be too tight with thick socks. I am now a HUGE fan of this brand.
