These have been my most sturdy, most comfortable and reliable hiking boots I have ever had. I have 4 diff hiking boot brands from ASICS, Salmon and KEENs and I choose my Columbias every time when I am doing a more challenging hike esp when I need ankle stability and support. You will not go wrong with these boots, from a beginner to more of an experienced hiker. Plus when they said they ’ re waterproof they are! Without being too hot even when wearing hiking socks! This pair of boots has hiked portions of Mount Whitney, the PCT, multiple field seasons and so much more. They are waterproof( I work IN ICY COLD rivers, so this is huge for me), my feet stay warm and I never had to break them in. I will be re- ordering!!

Walking a puppy 4 to 5 times a day, comfort is key and with having wider than normal feet, the fact these come WIDE is a HUGE plus. Soles lasted about 360 miles with half that walking in sand so typical range of at the price point and still usable. Definitely buying another pair soon.

[ I have had several pairs of these and will keep buying them as long as they are available. I use them for everything from hiking and fishing to farm work, roofing and all types of construction. I even have a pair I wear for casual outings. I do n't think they are intended for the abuse I put them through, but they hold up pretty well and most importantly, I never think of my feet hurting while I 'm wearing them, even after long, exhausting days. My finicky feet love these hikers for all occasions.

I ’ ve worn this style for the last 15 years. The first pair was a half size larger than my actual shoe size. Kept them for about 4. 5 years and gave them to a friend so I could get a pair that were my actual size( a half size smaller). I had the new pair for 10 years and finally got holes in the soles. I just ordered new ones and plan to have these for another 10 years. They ’ re great for all the snow and low temps we get. I ’ ve never once had wet feet... other than from sweat! I ’ m so happy they got rid of the side snaps for the inserts because then I don ’ t have to worry about replacing broken snaps. Absolutely LOVE these boots and love Sorel!!

I 've become a fan of slip- on boots, but the quality of my `` go- to '' brand has declined. I found these on the Internet, read the reviews and ordered them. I wear an 8. 5 W, and out of the box my widest foot was a tad tight. However, the boot stretched pretty quickly and within a day they were perfect. I took the dog for a hike the day I got them, and the boots did n't need any break- in time- perfect out of the box! They are also 100% waterproof, as advertised. Really nice boot, great craftsmanship and high quality!
