I have been looking for a pair or black boots with a square toe for a long time. Most of the ones that I 've found have the same stitching in yellow or red, until these. These have turquoise and purple stitching which just happens to be my favorite colors. I had to have them and am so glad I ordered them. They are so much prettier in person and are very comfortable. I did have to break them in a little bit, and I stuffed paper in the toe area to stretch them a bit. I only hade to do that for about two weeks, and now they fit wonderfully and are so comfortable to wear all day. For the record, I am a 56 yr old female, and I usually wear an 8. 5M. I bought these in an 8. 5M and they fit perfectly with a medium thickness sock.
