I have hiked in Colorado mountains, Appalachians, and many other places and they have stood up for me. I ’ d recommend them to anyone! And my weight fluctuates a lot. I use these boots for work, which typically means walking through streams, wetlands, and all sorts of forests and briars. I wish I had found these earlier! My previous boots were much more bulky in the foot, which is okay for wearing for a short time or distance. These boots are much better for walking a few miles and encountering streams. They had no break- in time( immediately comfortable), and have n't given me blisters like all other boots and many shoes have. My only issue is that the neoprene snagged on a twig and ripped a hole, and I had only worn them a couple times! If this boot came with the tall calf AND thicker neoprene, that would be great!! I need my boots to hold up to thorns etc.

OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain. I ’ ve worn them for everything from ag field days to foraging herbs in the woods, to the steam threshers event, to going to the grocery store.
