I use these boots for work, which typically means walking through streams, wetlands, and all sorts of forests and briars. I wish I had found these earlier! My previous boots were much more bulky in the foot, which is okay for wearing for a short time or distance. These boots are much better for walking a few miles and encountering streams. They had no break- in time( immediately comfortable), and have n't given me blisters like all other boots and many shoes have. My only issue is that the neoprene snagged on a twig and ripped a hole, and I had only worn them a couple times! If this boot came with the tall calf AND thicker neoprene, that would be great!! I need my boots to hold up to thorns etc.

I have been looking for a pair or black boots with a square toe for a long time. Most of the ones that I 've found have the same stitching in yellow or red, until these. These have turquoise and purple stitching which just happens to be my favorite colors. I had to have them and am so glad I ordered them. They are so much prettier in person and are very comfortable. I did have to break them in a little bit, and I stuffed paper in the toe area to stretch them a bit. These shoes are very durable, they dont stain easy, and are comfortable. The only thing I would like is if these came in steel square toe, or if maybe these came more to a point. I ’ ve worn them for everything from ag field days to foraging herbs in the woods, to the steam threshers event, to going to the grocery store.
