I actually loved the design for a hiking boots they looks stylish and were pretty comfortable. Now I will say you will need to break them in around the top they are firm materials that hurt a bit if you have n't broke them in. They have a nice design and my feet did n't hurt after using them. They have great soles and kinda curved so walking heal to toe is n't still and feels good when walking.

[ I bought these end of August last year. Excellent fit( really best fit of a hiking boot I have ever had) and kept my feet warm through the winter even during subzero temps. Walking a puppy 4 to 5 times a day, comfort is key and with having wider than normal feet, the fact these come WIDE is a HUGE plus. Soles lasted about 360 miles with half that walking in sand so typical range of at the price point and still usable. Definitely buying another pair soon.

I have flat, narrow feet so if your feet are wider, I 'd get wide width or the lace up boots, which are just as nice looking. Perfect in color. And are SO comfortable. These are perfect if you have a wide foot but not too wide. Regular boots are usually too narrow for me. Wide boots are usually too wide. I was told that Danner Boots run `` Narrow '' That probably is true cause the wide ones fit me perfect. Not too wide like the other brands.

I already own these boots without the safety toe and love them. These are no different aside of the break- in period. The non- steel toe were like house slippers from day one. These have taken a few weeks of wear to soften up and I am still having an issue with my left boot, but the right is great. They are extremely comfortable and easy to stand on most of the day. They run perfect to size and the steel toe is not invasive like other brands I have tried. I work in an environment that has a number of silicone based chemicals on the floor and it is slippery, but not in these boots! I have not even come close since I started wearing them. I 've been buying these boots to wear for my landscaping business for as long as I can remember.( over 15 years?) They are comfortable after a day of brake in. I apply one coat of weather seal when I buy them. I wear them over 12 hours a day and they last about 6 to 8 months. I like that they are n't steel toes, and that the tread on the sole does n't disturb the soil very much, but has good traction. I like to buy two at a time so I can alternate wearing them. I have bought them for my helpers too.

Great shoes. No break in period. I took them to Scotland for my honeymoon. Hiked up Ben Nevis when it was pouring rain, feet stayed warm and dry. My only recommendation is to buy more than one pair to make sure they do n't have any weird crease points or hot spots. I had to get 3 pairs in order to find one pair that did n't have hot spots on my pinky toe( weird creasing on the toes). All in all, I would recommend these shoes.

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

These are perfect if you have a wide foot but not too wide. Regular boots are usually too narrow for me. Wide boots are usually too wide. I was told that Danner Boots run `` Narrow '' That probably is true cause the wide ones fit me perfect. Not too wide like the other brands.

I do n't usually buy slip on shoes/boots because I hate it when they slide up and down on my heel. These do not slide. They definitely take a little work to get on, but man do they fit well and stay snug. Being a little more difficult to put on is worth how they fit and feel. After a few days of break in, they are super comfortable. The quality is awesome. I hate shoes where the glued sole comes loose and starts flapping. These are made of heavy boot leather and the stitched goodyear welt means they wont come loose and can be resoled when you wear them out. For the price I DEFINITELY recommend these shoe/boots

They seem to be a size smaller than normal size. I have always wore a 9 1/2 in all my shoes and boots but they seem to fit like an 8 1/2. Other than the size difference, these seem to be some of the best built and great quality boots that I ’ ve purchased in a long time. Hopefully after I get the right size, they will last me a while.

Love my Rangers. As a tool maker, I 'm on my feet at least 8 hours a day. Once I lace up my boots they do n't come off for about 12 hrs. I could n't be happier with them!

Love the boots, looks great with a black untuckit shirt! Love the contrast of black to tan, Goodyear welt construction! Runs large so order. 5 smaller.... I like to break them in with heavy wool socks.... about 1 month!

I bought factory 2nds from a buddy and I could n't tell you the difference between those and the 1st. A little cleaning and conditioning and it looked brand spanking new. I got these in a 7D. For some odd reason, they fit very similar to my pair of Beckmans which are a 7. 5D. Both are a touch loose at the toes. Maybe I 'm a 6. 5 in Redwings. No problem though, I threw in a pair of insoles for my Iron Rangers and they fit like a glove now. If you have a store near you, I highly suggest going in person to get sized. The leather is of fantastic quality. Great overall look and feel. I highly recommend this iconic boot! My next purchase are the Roughnecks.

These are my 2nd pair of Iron Rangers, but the 1st pair with the lug sole. The lug soles improve shock absorption and also reduce noise walking the halls at work. Fit is as expected. I wear 13 in my running shoes and 12 in my Red Wings.

I have 3 pairs of Iron Rangers in various colors, with the black harness being my most recent purchase. Once broken in, there is simply not a better overall boot on the market for both style and quality. They do run big, so try them on before you buy. My first pair of IRs were a 9. 5 and still fit relatively well, but I 've realized that I 'm a 9 in most pairs. Try them on and give them some real time to break in. You wo n't regret it.

OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain. Needless to say sandals and mountains are not ideal BUT they were better than the issues i had prior to trying these bogs boots! These will be the only hiking boot i will ever wear!!! PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE OR DISCONTINUE this item!!!

Weekender Chukka- Copper R& T. Really awesome the moment I put them on my feet. I ordered the same 9. 5D as my Iron Rangers and couple other Red Wing boots I have. Consistent size and fit. Big smile as I first walked around in them... few weeks into it and they are truly outstanding. Feel great, look great and classic Red Wing quality abounds. I have a couple pairs of the classic moc Red Wing shoes( 30yr old Irish Setter 8in, and a 6in Heritage) and with a very high arch I have always preferred the moc construction in shoes. I bought these and added the highest arch orthotics Red Wing makes, and bought a pair of the same orthotics for my 6in moc's. I walk 4- 8 miles a day, a mixture of pavement and trail, always in one pair of Red Wing's during cool and cold weather. I got the Weekender as my everyday shoe, figuring I 'd still use the 2 moc's for walking and hiking. But it's so comfortable it's the shoe that I wear 90% of the time( in cool and cold weather). In fact, it's so comfortable I often leave them on in the house, when normally all my life my shoes come off as soon as I 'm in the door. The only drawbacks so far are that because the sole is softer than the classic moc shoes it's wearing pretty fast. I get ca. 2 yrs out of the sole on my 6in moc, the Weekender may not make a year( ca. 1500 miles). I worry a bit about the leather eyelets lifetime instead of the metal grommets in the classic mocs. But for a shoe this comfortable I 'll be happy to replace the whole shoe every 4 or 5 years.

I 've had this boot for a little less than a year and they have changed my daily life. These boots are of the upmost comfort and quality, hands down my favorite pair to throw on and let life take me to where I need to go. At first I was skeptical of such a modern take on the classic square toe, I have never owned a pair of derby boots or chelseas before this and they seriously go on the foot like a breeze. I work on my feet all day and never once did I experience blisters or cramps or any such ailment. The leather is quality and solid, something only Durango can provide. Their scuffed and mud crusted and yet they still have that classic leather smell like they just came out of the box. Love these boots, I went true to size though they are a bit more narrow than I 'm used to. I might order me a second pair in the wide to accommodate for thicker socks but ca n't recommend them enough.

These boots are very comfortable, and so easy to slip right on. They are durable and handy when you need to slip something on for some work outdoors, but can also be dressed up a bit and just nice to wear out and about. A good word to describe these boots would be versatile.
