[ I have had several pairs of these and will keep buying them as long as they are available. I use them for everything from hiking and fishing to farm work, roofing and all types of construction. I even have a pair I wear for casual outings. I do n't think they are intended for the abuse I put them through, but they hold up pretty well and most importantly, I never think of my feet hurting while I 'm wearing them, even after long, exhausting days. My only recommendation is to buy more than one pair to make sure they do n't have any weird crease points or hot spots. But I put my shoes on and was very surprised how light weight they really are. I even just took a boot off of my left broken able ankle the day before. So I wore them all day and even this am to walk the dog. I work in a warehouse and walk 10- 12 miles a day, 260 days a year. I have worn the Eagle Trail boots by Georgia Boot this past year. They have been amazing. Only now are the insides starting to fail at the heels. The outsole has worn evenly and still has lots of life left. The leather has resisted being run over by pallet jacks, the toes have saved my toes numerous times. I bought them at the outlet store in Nelsonville and love them so much I will order them again full price. My feet do n't sweat, stink or get blisters. I sized them in W to allow exptra room in the toe box and will likely go up a half size this time. They fit true to size and look very good after a touchup with Helix Foot and Boot care. My paycheck depends on my feet being healthy. My feet depend on my Georgia Boots. Yes, I would say they are the best boot I have ever worn for work.

The traction is amazing as you can walk in the rain and not lose traction as well as walk on rocks and still keep traction. The fit is accurate as well. Come to find out my wife and mother in law sold that pair in a yard sale..:( Waited things out and they came on sale at Dick's for just under$ 285. Pulled the trigger for another pair of 8 EE's and just could not be more pleased. This time, bought the new Danner DXT Comfort Insoles( direct for Danner), and they made the best hiking boot, even better. Yeah, They are a lot of money, but they are well worth every penny. With the Mountain light IIs, 1/2 size down is the right fit for me with the EE wide fit. And, Dick's had the boots at our front door in two days!!!

Very flexible shoes. I took them to the Galapagos Islands, and they held out very well on hikes, on boats and are attractive enough to wear out to dinner. They were perfect for the consistent rain in Ecuador. Very easy and convenient to put on. I 'm very happy with them. My only wish is that they worked better with my orthotics. I fit my orthotic inserts very easily into all of my other shoes which are the same shoe size. Not in these. So, I just kept the original Merrill insert in. Totally fine, but maybe a little less comfort.

I love the boots, they are light weight and the heel has good cushion( bad lower back). The canvas area was making some non tactical noise but has since diminished with short use.
