One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

I purchased this Base Layer 3 shirt when I visited our local outlet store to place an order for another Under Armour shirt I liked. This shirt is thicker than a normal under layer shirt but is still comfortable if you wanted to wear additional layers. The cut of the shirt is super nice you might not want to hide it, though! It has thumb hole openings which are nice. I wore it alone several times since I bought it and was pleased at how well it kept me warm. I liked it so much I went to get a second one. They had sold out of the 3s but I snagged a 2 at least! My only negative comment would be it looks wrinkled when you remove it from the dryer. I only air dried it so maybe some heat might have gotten the wrinkles out. It's black so not that noticeable. Great shirt. I tried to get a 2nd one so obviously am happy with my purchase!

The fabric is soft, stretchy, and moisture- wicking, so even during intense workouts, they remain comfortable and dry. The 7/8 length hits right above the ankle, which works well for a variety of heights. They also stay in place — no slipping or rolling down at the waist, which is a big plus. The only minor downside is that they run slightly small, so sizing up might be a good idea for a more comfortable fit. Additionally, while they are warm, they aren ’ t overly thick, so in extremely cold weather, you may need another layer. I wear them alone or with the Winter Pro Tight as a base layer for skiing, winter ice and mixed climbing, snow shoveling, dog walking and general all around wear.
