I like my athletic waistbands around my hip bones; therefore, I adjust all my legging waistbands to personal comfort. I 'm 5' 6 '' _112lbs. I wear UA x- small to be as fitted as possible. I ordered Tall because I like to cover my ankles. This length is about 3/4 '' too long on me, but not a bother since they 're leggings. I know I am not using these as intended for running, but they work great as an underlayer for watching our grandkids hockey games. These are the perfect thickness, not too thin, and not too thick. I also love the fact that they fit perfectly and do n't ride down like some do.
