The dedicated laptop section is an improvement. Evening out the bag by enabling the main body lid to hold more is a plus. I prefer the extended yoke in the shoulder straps, being fairly thick in the chest from a life of PT. The enlarged bottle sleeve is appreciated, however my OCD needs one on the opposite side to balance it out/look uniform.

In an attempt to try one- bag traveling, I went on a search for a versatile pack that can be carried on a flight and is easy to walk around with for a while in a city. I ’ m a recovering over- packer. What I ’ ve found is that this pack fits everything you need as long as you can do laundry. I can very comfortably fit about 7 outfits( mostly packable clothing), undergarments for 7 days, 2 pairs of pajamas, sandals, and a pair of tennis shoes. Not to mention, all of my necessary toiletries fit, I can throw my laptop in the dedicated sleeve, and have my reusable water bottle in the side pocket. And that ’s just the main pack. What really sold me on this pack is the detachable sling bag. When flying, I put the main bag overhead and have the sling bag under the seat in front of me. This allows me to have all my necessities( headphones, chargers, etc) easily accessible without compromising my leg room like a regular sized backpack might.

I travel for work with a 2 bag system and basically live out of this bag and a backpack for my laptop etc for a couple weeks at a time every month. It ’s just the right amount of space for me and let me tell you it is rugged. I ’ m not easy on this bag and it looks brand new after months of weekly use. Bought it 2 years ago and it's holding beautifully. Handles have developed some patina but a lot of the bag looks like new. Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper- pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. I recently purchased the Patagonia Black Hole 55L Duffle bag for our bucket list trip to Africa. This bag was suggested by AI as the most versatile bag for the trip and will get us in and out of small plains. I 'll be testing this bag next week on a Fishing Trip to Cananda where we fly in through a float plane. I bought the Pollinator Orange in person at a local store, after it being the one orange I was like `` maybe it's too bright..? '' In person, it is much more of a brighter burnt orange, and I was instantly in love. I was searching for a duffle for its soft body vs any other luggage to have something easy to pack( big and roomy) and easy to grab and carry( handles on the sides of this bag, the backpack straps, or top carry straps!). I use it to pack for weekends at my partner's and future plans and it fits SO much!! The duffle is designed to fold into itself for storage as well and the wrapped outer part becomes a pocket accessible from in and outside of the duffle. I absolutely recommend this, and I appreciate all the colour options and its durability! A Pufferfish Gold one is in my partner's future, too:) You wo n't regret this purchase!! Though, it can be hard to unpack/repack, I think, it is worth it for what this duffle bag is when you use it.

This was a give for my wife, who already had the carry- on suitcase which she used on our most recent trip abroad. We had noticed people with `` personal items '' that could attach to the handle of roll- on bags and decided something like this would make it even easier to maneuver through crowded airports. It ’s just the right amount of space for me and let me tell you it is rugged. I ’ m not easy on this bag and it looks brand new after months of weekly use. I ’ ve only had one issue where I lost a strap and even though I was at fault customer support took care of me and got a new one right out. I honestly can not say enough good things about this product, the CS I received, and this company as a whole. Great gear and people!

Bought it 2 years ago and it's holding beautifully. Handles have developed some patina but a lot of the bag looks like new. Main compartment zipper is reinforced and does not het floppy/wrinkly, making zipping/unzipping easier and getting into the bag easier. Plenty of compartments and and carry styles thanks to many attachment loops for shoulder belt and handles. Handles do dig in into shoulders though if you carry heavy stuff. Also, magnets in to keep the handles together hold the handles quite poorly. But it's really all the nitpicks I can think of.

After 3 months, one of the side pocket zipper- pull broke off. After reaching out to Peak design they directed me to go through the warranty process. I received a brand new replacement bag within a few weeks. It was a pretty seamless process. Overall the bag is fantastic. Love all the pockets and carrying versatility. The one critique would be that the magnets in the Handel are too weak. I highly recommend travel duffel.

It ’s compact enough to fit in an overhead bin but still has plenty of space for both wedding attire and beach attire for a full week. One thing to note: it only has wheels on one side. While that means fewer things that can break, it makes adding luggage on top a little harder to navigate. The main zipper is durable and I like that its tucked under a flap, keeping everything weather resistant- especially nice when traveling in the tropics with frequent passing rain.
