I have worn nothing but Sorels my entire adult life( I am 67 years old). Went thru several pairs of caribous, have the silver( organza) Tofino for dress, an old heavy pair of Sorels for snowmachining and now the Snow Angel to replace my Sorel Waterfalls. These boots are the same fine quality I have learned to expect form Sorel over the years. I use them to walk/hike/snowshoe- they are great! Sizing is a bit large but accommodates my heavier winter socks and gives my toes a little wiggle room which is important for circulation in the cold.

A good friend with plenty of cold weather experience recommended these as the best winter boots she's found, and I love them! I wear sz 6 shoes and regular boots, but the local store only had sz 7, which were too big so I ordered 6- 1/2. They 're slightly roomy, perfect with thicker socks and fine with regular socks. OMG I CAN NOT say enough about these boots.... I will be ordering them in all 3 colors. I had yet to find a hiking boot that didnt cause me foot pain, blisters, or hot spots.... until now. These fit my feet perfectly. The toe box is typically where i struggle with hiking boots- blisters and pain of the great toe and medial ball of foot. Even while breaking these in I did not experience either of these issues. I have tried SO many other brands without finding the right fit.... i resorted to hiking Montana's Mountains in luna sandals because i could not find a hiking shoe/boot that didnt cause foot pain. Needless to say sandals and mountains are not ideal BUT they were better than the issues i had prior to trying these bogs boots! These will be the only hiking boot i will ever wear!!!
