Best winter hunting boots you can get. I 've been using mine for about 10 years now, and buy a set for each of my teens each year. If you get the fit right, they do n't pull your socks down when you walk. Very good for walking unlink the tradition tall boots. Most importantly, they are the only boots that you can sit for a couple of hours in the winter with and your feet do n't get cold. Any other boot I have ever tried, even the ones that claim- 30C, my feet always got cold really quickly, Even in only- 10C. I sometimes buy previously used items, but only when I know that I ’ m buying used and can inspect the product first, and usually at a discount. I was fully expecting ” new ” here as It wasn ’ t indicated anywhere that I was getting a used or returned product and I didn ’ t get that. So 2 stars to Dick ’s for not being up front on the condition of what they ’ re selling, or checking the condition of the returns they ’ re reselling. I ’ m not disappointed in the product, hence why I ’ m actually leaving 5 stars, just in Dick ’s quality control and product clarity. The `` speedlacing system '' is a nice perk-- it means( I think) that there is an extra tab that holds the lace on the lower part of the boot tightly, so you can tighten the lower half and it will stay tight while you adjust and tie the upper half.

[ The materials, color, and safety attributes of these boots initially appealed to me. I wear work/safety boots six days a week, 12+ hours a day. The Carhartt Ironwood boots fit exactly right, and are unexpectedly comfortable. The soles absorb shock and are comfortable all day. The insulation is just right too. My feet usually sweat in boots, but stayed very warm did not sweat in these. The only improvement I would make is to use something other than hiking boot laces. I ’ m very satisfied with them and would highly recommend.

they are a good fit comfortable and do seem to be waterproof so far, I am in the farming business and my feet stay dry, only drawback is an occasional soar from a rub below my ankle but that could be a socks issue. Can not rate durability or quality as only been wearing them 2 weeks

These are the best looking boots ever. They are warm and keep me from sliding much in the snow. You have to be patient taking them on and off but well worth it. I bought a special spray for vinyl and leatherette to clean and protect them on Amazon. I bought 1/2 size up to fit.

[ I wore these while hiking in Sequoia National Park in the winter. They were super comfortable! I walked through snow, small streams of water, and muddy areas. My feet stayed dry and warm. They had good traction. Some snow did get in over the top when I walked in snow deeper than the height of the boots, but when I put on some snow shoes with them and that kept me from sinking in too deep. They did n't feel too bulky or heavy when walking in areas without snow. I choose these because they are made with vegan materials. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. My husband LOVES his boots. He has found the correct size for his big feet! He usually wears a 15 and up- sized to a 16 for the ease of getting them on and off. Awesome boots! They 're surprisingly completely waterproof, breathe well, and keep my feet warm all day while working in snow/slush. They are a bit big and run wide especially in the heel area, and I probably could ’ ve gotten away with an 8. I kept them because I ’ d rather be able to wear thick socks and not have anything start to rub my feet uncomfortably after a while.
