This top delivers on multiple fronts. The fabric is lightweight and feels well matched to warm summer days. I have sweat in it comfortably. At the same time, I have worn it as an effective base layer for cooler temps, which can still arise suddenly in Colorado springs. The slightly gathered fabric effect offers forgiveness for some of my own belly and arm ripples. The edging makes the top feel feminine just the way I want it to-- I like doing athletic things with the boys, but I do n't want to dress like them. This top helps me stay covered without feeling frumpy( I 'm in my mid- forties). I have a 36 '' chest, 30 '' waist, and 40 '' hips. I wear a size M comfortably. It does not wear too baggy for the look, nor is it too tight at all. Given the forgiveness and stretch of the fabric, I could imagine sizing down without much issue, but I do n't want to wear this piece tighter.

This fabric has a soft interior that is n't cold or slinky feeling. I got the Port color and it's rich, not shiny. I wish this shirt was offered in the same color in long sleeve for sun protection. The large measures 22 inches across the chest from bottom of sleeve seam, and 23 inches length from shoulder at collar seam to hem. I 've tried several sun shirts of different brands and majority feel clammy and make me feel hot in the sun. Not this shirt! The material is thin, breathable and very soft on your skin. I actually prefer the quarter zip version over the MH hoody due to the bottom hem design( hoody has a draw string at the bottom which I do n't care for). This shirt also has better neck protection for me since I always wear a wide brim hat when I hike and I would n't use the hood. And I really appreciate having quarter zip to allow more air through. I 'd love to have more solid color options.

These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

I have the Abisko wool shirt in the long and short sleeve models. When I had a bad fall in Argentina and broke my arm, I had on the long sleeve version. The arm was badly damaged, but the shirt still looks great. I look forward to wearing it when I get my arm out of the cast. Really happy with the dark navy color and the fabric and fit. I returned the first one because a seam on one cuff was not stitched down. The cuffs on the second one are fine, but the seam on one arm near the cuff is puckered. I 'm wondering if I 'm just too picky for this shirt. If not for the stitching issues, I would buy another of these.

I love this shirt. I 'm 5' 9 '', 32D, ~145lbs, and I wear the small. It's classy enough to wear to work in my office; lightweight and cool enough to wear on trail. I like that it stretches, I like the buttons( I 'm not into snaps, too many wardrobe malfunctions), I like that it reaches my wrists( I have a 5' 7 '' wingspan), and I like that I feel good wearing it. The only thing that gets me is that the men's version has lots of color options and the women's is very limited. Maybe a nice sage green? Brick? Light blue? Dark pink? I 'll be checking the website

My new favorite top for cool spring mornings or roll up the sleeves for hot afternoons. I have gotten so many compliments too from strangers. I purchased the white titanium one with the nifty pattern. I was worried about the buttons but I just leave the cuffs unbuttoned so it is easy to roll them up when in a hurry. It still smells good after quite a few days of sweating. Comfy loose fit!

Not sure what all the griping about snap buttons is about, especially with a fabric so light. I 've pulled snaps out on technical fabric like this, which sucks more than the inconvenience of making sure a button is pushed through. This review is left on first impressions, so I have n't tested it in hot or sunny conditions yet. Based on my first impressions, I would n't hesitate to wear this regardless of what activities I have planned for the day. Golfing, biking, hiking or hanging out at the beach, you 'll look good doing it although you 'll probably need a new one after a crash.

I got this because I was looking for a lightweight long sleeve outdoor button up. This did not disappoint! It's so smooth, and cooling against your skin, and very lightweight! The fabric is really high quality and I find very flattering for my shape. Also, it's really a nice shirt so you can wear it indoors for other occasions. I have n't used it in super sunny weather yet so I ca n't attest to its UPF rating but I 'm looking forward to trying it!

This shirt is great for layering or wearing in summer temperatures to help avoid stink. The fabric is on the delicate side so not for bashing through the undergrowth where you would snag it. I like this shirt for summer travels. It packs well, shakes out wrinkles, and dries in a reasonable time. Beginners or experts will appreciate this shirt. I like this shirt better than 100% wool in the summer time.

These little wool tees are a Maudsend in humid( and cooler!) weather, and the perfect mix of casual and `` active wear. '' I throw pottery on a wheel, do a bit of woodworking, and hike, and these transition beautifully from casual wear to need- moisture- wicking work/play clothes and regulate my squirrelly body temperature amazingly well. Really love the neckline on the Tech Lite II( still gives coverage on the pottery wheel, but far more flattering and comfortable a fit than the higher crew necks on the other tees). Length gives great coverage, also- just right without reveal. I am more often a small than a medium, but was a solid medium here- the usual bit of shrink of wool during washing was just enough to make it a perfect fit. The price is higher than cotton tees, obviously, but they are well made, a treat to wear, and seem to last, so I purchase a couple now and then and replenish as needed. Body style is lovely, some shape but still loose enough for comfort and a more flattering `` fit. '' Would really love it if they brought back the dark charcoal color, and some more darker, subtle, maybe even heathered colors( The lighter, like all tees, shows more sweat stains eventually, at least for me, and I 've never cared for pastel/easter egg brights).
