These are by far my favorite synthetic hiking shirts. So lightweight and breathable, beautiful colors, perfect fit, super comfortable, dries fast and wicks sweat. The raglan sleeves mean no seams for backpack straps to rub and cause irritation. A slightly higher UPF rating would be nice, but would also make the fabric heavier, so I understand the trade- off there. The smooth texture works well when layering too.

Unlike most shirts that hit on my upper hip/waist, this one falls at mid- hip, making it flattering and letting me raise my arms without showing skin. Really great shirt: comfortable for hot days and nights. It gets only 4 stars by comparison with last year's Shade Lite shirt. This one has slightly heavier fabric, and seemingly, a tighter weave, so it does n't breathe as well. On the other hand, the new snaps are much easier to unsnap than last year's metal ones.( I sometimes wonder if I 'll rip the snap out of the Shade Lite before it disengages!)

Cold Weather Killer
Got this to replace a 25+ year old Nike ACG baselayer that is still wearable. I bought this for it's slick and soft material, color( I love brighter colored base layers) raglan shoulder sleeves and OR's size/fit. This is actually my first OR top I 've ever purchased and I am so happy that the fit is perfect in the body/torso and sleeve length. Follow the size guide and know your own size dimensions and you ca n't go wrong. I ca n't believe how this extremely ultra light layer keeps me so warm. I hope OR continues to offer bright color options for this echo long sleeve crew base layer because the fit is perfect for me. Not too tight, but not loose and baggy. Really impressed with OR's products so far.

I love these. The Echo line of long/short sleeve and tanks are my absolute favorite OR product. The fit is great. I ’ m 5 ’ 5 ” and athletic. I work out to look and feel good and so often the clothes I find from retailers are made for guys 6 feet plus with a flat chest and no butt. Not so this product. I buy a size small and it fits perfectly. It ’s great for working out or working on the farm. It wicks moisture and protects me from the sun. I have the echo short sleeve and echo tanks too. My only wish is that they ’ d offer more bright colors.

I needed some new shirts for work and stumbled upon this shirt in- store. I really liked the simple designs on the chest and the back. I did n't even try it on in store and just bought it. When I got home I tried it on and it fits so nicely and comfortably. The material is n't too thick or thin. It somewhat still feels very breezy but also keeping you warm enough. Bought this jersey at the Sea Otter Classic Expo, and wore it on the mountain bike tour. Loved the extra length in the back and the way the seam design at the shoulders and the stretch fabric gave me freedom of movement on the bike all day. The Freewheel Short Sleeve Jersey is more like a daily driver shirt over a traditional jersey. You can wear it daily for day to day tasks then hit the trail after work. The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog. I took the shirt for weekly rides on local trail heads in MD in spring and on the Santos Trails in FL on a work trip. The stretch is nice when you catch a sticker bush and length is nice if you have a long torso. The only con in my opinion is that a bring color would be nice for hunting seasons. I currently have the blue shirt and it looks good.

Finally got the chance to ride in this. Breathable and is a nice fabric. I do n't see a huge difference between riding in this versus any tech fabric shirt though. It also feels big. I think a snugger fit would help as I worry about snagging it on branches.

This shirt is great! I personally use the t- shirt for daily things and outdoor wise for rock climbing. I find it incredibly comfortable and perfect for my build( slim). I am 180cm 65kg and I fit both S and M. I have it a total of 4 times. I also own other Fjallraven t- shirts but this is my favourite. My job is not physical but allows me to have a casual wear and I use this shirts a lot. I am only adding the following to address the other bad reviews. The tag, just remove it. I find so interesting that other customers just didn ’ t do it. If there is an answer about “ well for the quality of the brand I would not like to so that ” Fjallraven is a outdoor brand so if you are comfortable getting muddy, sweat, and dirt in this t- shirt, you probably also do not care about removing a tag or the cotton pilling a little bit. It will not maintain a smooth line fabric but the feeling and comfort doesn ’ t decay.
