This is my third pair of Xtratuf boots, I have a tall pair and a regular deck boot pair--- I 've been wearing them for at least 5 years. The boots I have are great but not the warmest and I 've always wished I could find a warm Xtratuf boots. Well these boots are IT! With a midweight wool sock, these boots kept my feet warm when it was pretty dang cold. And I love the color scheme, girly without looking unserious. I 'm surprised no one has reviewed these yet but everyone deserves to know, these are great boots!

I can ’ t recommend these boots enough. Bought them for navigating sloppy slushy parking lots after skiing and they are the perfect height- not to heavy- and they are so comfortable.

Love LOVE this boot!!! Fleece lining is perfectly cozy and warm and wide enough, exactly what i was hoping for as my feet run cold. Super easy on/off, unlike some ankle boots. Recommend sizing down if 1/2 size- I 'm a solid 7. 5 with wide forefoot and went for 7, perfect fit even with thicker socks, never pinches through the forefoot and toe( always an issue for me). Also love the rubber wedge on ankle exterior, for kicking off using toe of other boot without wearing down the heel seam.

This is my fifth pair I 've purchased. It's the first with fleece lining and I love them! The non- slip sole is the very best. I only wish that they would not crack and leak after several months of wear.

These are the best! I love these boots for PNW winter! They are comfy, easy to have on and walk securely in the wet and so cozy inside I can even slip them on with bare feet without that “ ick ” feeling. I love the fun color and how easy they are to slip into, then leave at the door or the entrance to yoga class. Love love love these boots!

These boots are comfortable. I use them when I ’ m on the sideline covering a football game as a medical provider. I also use them for gardening like digging holes for trees and plants. Easy to slip on and off. Water proof. They keep the toes warm. I ’ ve had them for a year and they are holding up well. Just purchased a non- insulated pair for the hot months.

When selecting the best camping footwear, consider features such as waterproofing, breathability, and traction. Look for materials that provide durability and comfort, as well as designs that offer support for various terrains. Additionally, consider the weight of the footwear, as lighter options may be more suitable for long hikes.
Waterproofing is crucial in camping footwear, especially if you plan to encounter wet conditions or stream crossings. It helps keep your feet dry and comfortable, reducing the risk of blisters and discomfort. Look for footwear with waterproof membranes or treated materials for optimal protection against moisture.
The best camping footwear varies by terrain. For rocky or uneven ground, hiking boots with good ankle support and traction are ideal. For flat, easy trails, lightweight sneakers may suffice, while waterproof boots are better for wet or muddy conditions. Assess the terrain you'll encounter to choose the right type.
To ensure the right fit for camping footwear, try them on with the socks you plan to wear while camping. Make sure there is enough room in the toe box and that the heel fits snugly without slipping. Walk around in them to check for comfort and support, as well as to ensure they won't cause blisters during long hikes.
Hiking shoes are typically lighter and more flexible, making them suitable for day hikes and well-maintained trails. In contrast, hiking boots offer more ankle support and durability, which is beneficial for rugged terrains and longer treks. The choice between the two depends on your planned activities and the level of support you need.
While regular sneakers can be used for camping, they may not provide the necessary support, traction, or protection for outdoor activities. Sneakers often lack waterproofing and durability, which can lead to discomfort or injury on uneven or wet terrain. It's best to choose footwear specifically designed for camping to ensure a better experience.
