Would win Best in Show, Excellent All- around... I have a hiking/trekking shoe problem( name the brand, I might have 2 pair), and if I had to pick only ONE, to wear every day.. doing every thing.. for eternity... it's got to be this one. Sizing: I 'm an 11. 82, medium. I have the greys size 12 here. Great fit, there 'd be extra room if needed. Toe box remains roomy due to lacing grid, but it's welcomed. Nothing thicker socks/insoles ca n't fix of course if it pleases you. Closest thing to a barefoot shoe that I 've put on and liked. They call this a barefoot and I wo n't put up a fight, but they seem pretty tall( FOR a bf shoe). In any case, it's close, and I do love the grounded feel, but only because the tread is so supportive. Ya know how most shoes are either very technical, or, `` go straight! '' etc etc? These, you 're just kind of, surfing B) What's the Catch?... 1) I 'm aware of some longevity concerns w/ tread, but I 'd imagine the give- or- take goes to the shoe FTW- anything reasonable would be worth it b/c the shoe is that great. 2) I 'd be lying if I was n't a bit concerned about the construction of the eyelets- they give the impression that too many tough yanks will make them angry. Worst case, you can craft some metal loops into the shoes, and gives you a reason to visit w/ your local tailor and share stories:)

Maybe the perfect hiking shoe. Solid waterproof construction for dry feet on those muddy days. The sole has that minimal feel that allows you to be aware of your footing, but not so minimal to lack giving feet the protection they need. Great traction of rocks, down trees, sand, just about everything I ’ ve trudged them through. Overall a great design. Only qualm is that the sole began to separate from the rest of the shoe a little before it really should have, but I partially blame the wet/rocky unforgiving terrain I usually hike in. Nothing a little super glue couldn ’ t fix.( Maybe something to revisit in a next generation design)

I was in the market for a no lace, low cut outdoor shoe. This Merrell shoe is comfortable and true to size. It is said to be waterproof, but I have not been able to test that out yet. Build quality appears to be excellent. I like the ease of putting on the shoe. The bottom tread is an upgrade to my older Merrell shoes of a similar style.

This is my husband's 2nd or 3rd pair of these. He lives in these and one other style of Merrells. Long wear and comfortable. He can also put his support insole in them.

I have four older pairs of Merrel slip ons that are all worn out and hurt my feet, but I keep them because I live in a woods, and they get muddy so I have to leave them in the garage and wear a clean pair in the house. This pair of Moabs however, are a perfect fit and are super comfortable. They 're so nice, I do n't want to get them dirty.

Great fit and feel. Plenty of room in the toe box and a perfect amount of arch support. I ’ m a big fan of the slightly stiffer rubber for a bit more longevity, and I ’ ve been impressed with the traction that these provide.

As an avid outdoorsman and professional photographer, I ’ ve been wearing the Moab series for years. Over the years and thousands of miles hiked, I developed Morton ’s neuroma in my right foot. I was on the search for a wide toe box barefoot feel that was light weight for the spring and summer months. His shoes fit the bill perfect. I have had to put orthotics in almost every shoe that I wear and these are the only ones I don ’ t have to put them in. Definitely looking forward to purchasing the mids and the Moab 3. The fit is true to size and the grip is fantastic..

Incredibly comfortable. Snug fit at heel. Good support at arch. Extea Room at toes. I have one foot 1/2 size larger than the other. Due to the extra room in the toe area, I can comfortably wear the same size shoe on both feet. Sole is slippery on wet surfaces is only downside.

I am a huge fan of the barefoot Merrell shoes as they are ideal for every day and for operating rudder pedals when I am giving flight instruction. I thought I ’ d try the Wrapt, it is a little too heavy for flying, but it has become my favorite golf shoe! Comfortable and never slips.

These are easy to throw on and get busy. The grip is unreal. If you have any problems with your feet, you might consider after market insoles to add a bit more cushion.
