My favorite things about them is that they are such good quality! I also love that they wash very well and maintain their shape, they don ’ t get stretched out at all! Sweatpants never keep their shape well and these do! The only thing I would change is that for a tall skinny kid they are a little wide in the thigh. As always, the Smith Summit Pants deliver. This is my third pair, and I ’ ve owned every generation so far. The new version definitely runs larger — in previous generations, size L felt consistent across models, but this time L fits more like an XL from the older ones. The redesigned knee pockets are now placed more toward the front of the thigh instead of the side. I ’ m still getting used to this change and not sure yet if I prefer it, but the functionality seems about the same. I ’ m happy they brought back the snap button on the rear pocket — much better than the zipper from V2. The single- layer knee pockets are still a small letdown compared to the older double- pocket design. The added soft, stretchy lining on the inside of the waistband is a nice touch — feels great and adds comfort for all- day wear. Overall, still one of the best pairs of pants I ’ ve ever owned. I got a size L, and I ’ d say the pants are true to size. They ’ re straight cut so they definitely give you a lot of leg room which is great to layer up for the cold weather. I think the design is pretty simple which I love. They have pockets on top and also one cargo style pocket on the side that ’s pretty deep. The material feels really smooth and nice although it seems that it may crinkle pretty easily maybe after washing. A steamer could fix that issue easily though. One thing I will say is that the pants are a bit long for me, and I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ”. If I wear them with snow or work boots, they look just fine. [ These are pants you could wear every day, with a slim fit and tasteful branding. The material is light but doesn ’ t feel too plasticky and thankfully doesn ’ t make “ swishing ” sounds when walking like some other similar pants. The drawstring waist is wide enough to avoid pressure points, with a chunky string that stays tied well. The pockets are deep enough that your phone won ’ t fall out when you kneel or sit and the mid- leg pocket is novel and holds a phone or wallet nicely. The ankles are straight with a wide enough opening to drape nicely over high tops without looking baggy. Fit around the hips is a bit more snug than other Nike pants I own but only a bit. If I could alter one thing it would be making them a bit roomier in the hips but that ’s just personal preference. For reference, I ’ m 5 ’ 10 ” and 190lbs with an athletic build. I wear a 32 waist in jeans and this medium pair of pants fit me well. I really appreciate the premium touches like Jordan branding on the aglets and eyelets, as well as the expensive selling materials and clean paneling and stitching throughout. On the whole, I ’ ve been very impressed with these pants and they found a place into my rotation as soon as I got them.

[ When I first got these pants I was a little worried they would look too big on me, but once I put them on, I realized how awesome they completed my look in a way that felt proportionate to me. These cargo pants can be worn to the gym, but more importantly than can help create a street style and ready to wear look. I was able to wear these with a casual t- shirt to go grab some coffee, and also pith some nicer crops, to turn it into a more stylish look. I purchased these pants in both the zip- off and non- zip- off models for an extended trip to southeast Asia. Three countries and 30 days later these pants, like the others I have purchased over the years from Columbia have been impressive. They wear like steel surviving daily wearing where I sat, hiked, climbed in and out of long boats, tuk- tuks, taxis, busses, through remote villages, along muddy tracks, and repeated washing in sinks and the occasional clothes washers. The hot humid climate created a thermal challenge but wearing shorts was not an option given all manner of biting insects that carry a variety of nasty diseases. These pants are super lightweight and fast drying. Most stains came out in the wash and those that did n't, probably would n't come out of any fabric.

The latest style is great. They have a great form fitting stylish shape. I normally wear a 30 waist but felt the 30s were a bit snug in the thigh area, so I got a 32. I just visited London, walking 25k- 30k steps each day over the past four days. I wore these pants each day and have never been more comfortable! It rained on me, every single day while I was walking, and with no umbrella, the water repellant worked great. They are not water proof( neither is the jacket), so there were times when I could see that water had gotten into the material. But I never felt that I got wet, thanks to these pants and the matching jacket that I also wore on one of the days. I never leave clothing reviews, but after what I just put these pants through, and how well they have held up, they deserved a public 5 star recognition from me!

With pants being light weight they will help him to not feel restricted. yes, these do run large even for oversized, baggy, cargoes, but once I figured out I needed to go down two sizes I ended up buying a second pair in a different color. The length is not an issue if you use the bungee cord at the hem of the pants to adjust the length to suit the look you are going for. LOVE these!

I 'm 5' 4 and these are standard fit Mid Rise Full length and for me they are a little long BUT they have a draw string on the bottom so you can wear them baggy or like jogging pants. The material reminds me of a wind breaker but to my surprise are extremely comfortable. I got a Large and I 'm 5' 4 150lbs and they sit perfectly on my hips, not too big and not snug. I went ahead and washed them and it was a success it did not alter the clothing and they did not draw up in fact it softened them just a bit. These pants are definitely IN STYLE and I dont want to take them off now. I honestly do n't have any cons to say about them, I would recommend if you like this brand and want to be cute AND comfortable. I do think they run big so I would size down.

[ I have to say that the moment that I opened the package I was impressed. The fabric reminds me of a parachute and feels like it would be incredibly hard to tear, rip or damage. I also like the fact that the wide legs are there so that any type of sports boot can fit under the cuffs, or, one can use the draw string to cinch the cuffs up for things like mountain biking. The look is what I would consider tough but tight looking. They are sleek but well sorted with plenty of pockets that close in well placed areas. It is important that the pockets be in the right places and can be closed so that things do n't get damaged or lost. The women's medium size seems a slight bit large, but give that it comes with a waist drawstring, that is not a problem. They also seem a bit long, but I understand that Medium has to fit a large sample of women, and the fact that the cuffs can be cinched help them stay put and kind of create a tuff puffed look. I think that I like the fabric the most as I can not imagine hurting them.

[ Overall, I really like these cargo pants, especially because of the fit and the material! The fit of these cargos really hit the mark, they sit just right as a mid rise below my belly button but they cover high enough for me not to feel self conscious about my lower abdomen. The elastic waistband sits well on the hips and there is a string inside if you want to make the fit tighter. The pant legs are also loose, providing a good cargo shape that skews a little wider and I especially like how the hem of the pants have elastic for a cinched ankle look if that is what you like. I have bigger thighs so finding wide leg pants that fit my waist and are still loose around the thighs is somewhat difficult.. These pants fit true to size at the waist but the length is quite long. I am 5' 7 '' and the pants( non- cinched) hit the bottom of my feet, so would highly recommend wearing these pants with a pair of platform shoes if you are 5' 7 '' or shorter just so you do n't step on the pant hem. The length looks really good cinched though so there is a reason why these pants are so long. Color wise, the brown colorway leans a little more green than one would expect from a brown. It is still brown but I think it leans more warm tone than cool tone brown. The pockets use velcro which makes it easy to put stuff in and I was able to fit my phone, wallet, keys as well as a small pouch into 1 pocket. The material is quite thick for a cotton nylon blend. I wore these in the rain and it is water resistant.

There was so much extra fabric and room I almost could have fit two of me in these pants. I ’ m not sure if I entered my size wrong or got the wrong size sent to me but it was so off I won ’ t be able to wear them. I really love the pants though and wish I could.

[ Just bought these pants and I love them…however, I wish they had 2 key features, 1, sun protection and 2, elastic cords at the ankle to tighten them in order to keep dirt, debris and bugs out. Really great pants, nearly perfect. Note, the rear belt loop is a little snug for a standard belt to fit through, and would love these in a coyote brown color and grey.

They were slightly big on me despite the sizing guide saying this should be my size. I had to draw down the belt as far as I could. However there would be plenty of room to layer if I needed too

I bought these pants as a spare to a set of North Face. Low and behold, to coin a phrase, a bargain at half the price! These pants are comfortable and durable. They dry super fast and just a go to fit and look! I only wish they had zipper pockets for security!

[ These are well made. I love the cotton fabric and the multiple pockets. My only disappointment was I thought they were adult size. I have a dear friend whose daughter could wear them and she was delighted to get them for back to school!
