I prefer light colors for visibility in stormy conditions, so I got the white/tan one. The internal drawstring at the waist is flattering. The hood WILL NOT blow down in wind. This is a great waterproof, wind blocking rain coat. I have already worn it quite a few times. Strong Velcro too. Pros: I ’ m 5 ’ 125- 130 lb. It is not too long on me. Which is a problem when you are short. Sits just below the hips. Velcro on the sleeves cuffs is a plus because the arms are a little long& it keeps the wind out. Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Zippers are fail points for waters so we elected to minimize the water ingress points. Tl; dr kept us dry. Breathed well for intense, medium duration active wear

I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

[ I recently bought a bunch of sunblock hoodies and have been wearing this a lot more than the others so far this summer, I love it! I 've been hit with skin cancer on my face twice now so trying to find ways to cover up when I 'm outside that do n't require me to bath in sunblock lotion. For context: I live in Arkansas and it's been super hot& humid. We 're currently in the upper 90's/lower 100's with pretty high humidity- dew points in the 70- 75 range most days. For that kind of weather this is the by far the most comfortable of the 3 other sun blocking hoodies I 've tried. This material is very breathable and lightweight like a tech shirt, but it fits loose and does n't show off the finer details of every fat roll I have like a tech shirt. It looks good just wearing it around. The `` activeice '' part is n't entirely obvious like wearing an air conditioner, but I noticed the other day that my exposed legs felt hotter in the sun and took longer to cool off once I got out than my arms/torso so it does seem to actually do something. If you live in a hot climate that is also humid, there is n't a better option I 've found, so just buy this. Most of the others I 've tried use some cotton- like materials that soak up humidity or they are thicker& less breathable and start to get a bit too warm when the temp hits 90's and the humidity is high. My only complaint is the collar/base of the hood. The closest pic of the hood up on OR's website you 'll find is a guy reaching back to start to pull it up, so I 'm assuming they already know the hood looks a bit funny, but sharing on the off chance they read this for next years version. I wish the hood had two sections that crossed under the chin or something similar instead of the solid strip. I do appreciate the neck coverage and it looks good when the hood is down, but when the hood is up you look like you 're in one of those face- in- hole photo boards or about to go bee- keeping. Most of my friends are master- level wisecrackers so it will have to be really sunny day before I wear this around them with the hood up. Pro- Tip: It looks better( to me at least) when wearing a hat and pulling the hood over the brim, and gives better sun protection on the sides of your face that way as well. My second minor improvement would be that it could be maybe just one inch longer, I 'm 6'00 '' and 200 lbs. The length is great for the most part but if I 'm reaching straight up it shows a bit of belly. Overall though, this is easily the winner of the bunch I 've tried for the dead heat of summer.

I recently ordered 4 different styles in a few different sizes. This style fit me the best, so I bought 5 pair. I am 5' 7 '', 130 lbs, and 60 yo. I have long, lean legs, and a short waist. I have shorts that fit me well from size 4- 8, just depends on the style. I tried size 6 in the 5 '' inseam, but the waist was a little snug, so I returned for size 8, which fit perfectly. I still have room in the hips, but they fit nicely and give me some shape. And my legs do n't look like sticks hanging out of a barrel!;) This fabric has a nice, silky feel to it. Some of the others I tried were a bit stiff and `` papery '' feeling. I highly recommend these.

The keb trouser has become my go to year round outdoor trouser. I love pairing these with a base layer and adventuring in the cold months- snow shoeing and nordic skiing are well within the wheelhouse for these pants. Not to mention they are a stellar hiking pant.

Basically these are the best hiking pants you can buy. Super tough, super comfortable, amazing mobility. I have taken mine everywhere and in every type of conditions. I just can seem to destroy them haha. They keep me dry in most conditions as well. I love the burly g- 1000 fabric on the legs and seat, I use these in the back- country and off trail and have n't once ripped them of had and thorns etc get me. Amazing pants!

It took me a while to spend this kind of money on a pair of pants. Never have I done so, until hiking through mesquite brush, briar, and cacti became a daily ritual as part of my job. Where I am from, the temperatures are scorching during the summer, hitting heat index values of 108. I was skeptical about the G- 1000 being too hot for such weather but the Keb trousers have proven me wrong. I am very impressed with these pants. The lightweight fabric is perfect for keeping me cool and the G- 1000 protects me through the dense vegetation I usually go through. The ventilation zippers at the thighs and calves are amazing additions to help dump that excess heat. The range of motion is incredible in these pants, I am never restricted no matter how I move. I wish I had purchased these sooner! The Keb trousers were my first Fjallraven purchase, and they most certainly will not be my last! Thank you for making such an awesome, hardwearing, and breathable pair of pants!

I remember when I bought my first Keb pants, thinking `` am I crazy for spending so much on pants?? '' but after wearing them for over a year, I was very happy I did. These pants are very versatile. I wearing them on hiking/climbing days, gardening, tree maintenance, and for general labor. I 've even worn them for cold weather running. For some weeks, they are all I wear. They are very durable, no rips/tears or issues. They breathe well, but still keep me warm on colder days. Perhaps not the best for heavy rain, but are great in all other conditions.

[ I love these shorts — I find it almost impossible to find shorts that fit me( narrow waist, curvy through butt and thighs), but these fit perfectly. The material is light, comfortable, dries quickly, and seems to resist odors better than other athletic shorts I have. The little zippered pocket is a nice touch, too. I only wish they came up a little higher on my waist! 5 ’ 5 ” 120 lbs, ordered size XS.

[ These are my first pair of wool shorts so I was n't sure what to expect. They are fantastic! I thought that they would attract dog hair( I have 4 pups), and they have n't at all! My only problem is that I 'm kind of a hard fit right now and I did n't want them to be too small so they are a bit too big. But that's completely my fault. Very happy with these and I 'm sure I 'll be buying more.

[ I bought these shorts over the summer before a big camping trip in the Rockies and Tetons and they held up perfectly. Finally shorts that do n't ride up with any sort of movement and they kept me cool and wicked sweat. The length is perfect in the sense they are not too long or too short. I bought three more colors and these will be the only shorts I will wear now.
