I bought these in white in XL and then in black in L. I like pants loose at the waist and need a long rise. I also got the short length, which sit at my instep( 5' 4 ''). The black ones in the L fit better as to the rise and volume of the legs, but I prefer the looser waist on the XL. I wish designers would give up the hourglass myth of women's bodies: If one needs a L for the hips, one probably does not have a 32 '' waist. The drawstring makes these wearable. Both are comfortable, though, and very light. So I will probably wear the black ones out more, and keep wearing the white ones around the house. Very comfortable style and fabric. I find myself wearing these most days in the Florida warm temps. Very nicely made, as well. I marked `` runs small '' because the elastic at the waist, IMO, should be about 2 inches larger. I have NEVER loved a pair of pants more than these. I bought the light grey in medium with the matching Nike tech oversized hoodie, and I tuck the bottom of the hoodie in to give it a baggy cropped look, with a pair of boots or my go to Nikes. This is my absolute favorite outfit and would buy it in every color if they weren ’ t sold out everywhere. Please please bring them back NIKE!! P.s. they do shrink after the first wash so don ’ t worry if they look super big in your normal size at first.
