I ordered the 3xlt and it fit perfectly. I have a longer torso, so the 3xlt was a great option. I was n't sure on how it 'd fit, but I was very pleased once it arrived and I tried it on. I 'm 6' 0 340 lbs and the 3xlt fit loose and comfy. I honestly could 've got away with a 2xlt, but I prefer the loose fit. I highly recommend this jacket. I have had a stretch down pullover hoody for about a year but wanted one that had a zipper. I found this fabric to be high quality and have never had any issues with tears. It does stretch but I wear mine fairly baggy so it does n't get tested. Its super light and you can stuff it almost anywhere. It feels like a windbreaker but it does hold some heat. I 'm a moderately heavy build and I do prefer slightly cooler temps than the average person. I feel comfortable wearing a t- shirt and this as long as its above maybe 25 or above for relatively short periods of time( hour or less). I live in central NC and on the rare occasion its colder than that, I reach for my regular stretch down hoodie. I do sorta wish it had a drawstring on the bottom but not a deal breaker.

I typically am size large and ordered large and there's lots of room. This is my first puffy jacket since the 90 ’s with my Starter Jacket. I kinda never liked them until I moved to a colder climate and saw other people wearing this brand and I just really dug the way they fit. I purchased one of these in Copenhagen 4 years ago, and have worn it on the beach in Oregon at least 500 times. There are no signs of fraying, material is still strong, zippers work great. If it rains, or excess wind demands it, the hood fits well and tightens with clever elastic locking adjusters. The length is just right for me, not too long like some. Chest pocket is perfect for keeping my wallet/ID. I have collected rocks over the years and just put them in the side pocket, and they are still strong. Light weight but excellent in windy conditions. I do n't need to replace it but after 4 years it's looking a bit faded so I ordered another one in a different color and it's on the way. Expect the new one is the same great jacket. Thank you Fjall Raven. In my entire life I do n't think I 've worn a single jacket so much, and I 've never taken the time to go online and praise a piece of clothing but this deserves that.

[ Wore this on a cruise to Ireland& Scotland. It repelled wind& light rain and I found myself reaching for this jacket often. The fit is nice, I 'm 6' 4 and the XL is nearly perfect. The sleeves are little long( my size is 36/37 so this is probably 37/38) but I 'm ok with it. The front/back length is passing for my height but if the back was longer( like they do with some jackets) it would be even better. If you 're 6' 2 to 6' 3 I think the length would be perfect on both sides. The body is roomy but not baggy, and fortunately not slim fit like some. It's not the best in the cold and the material has a cool feel against the skin, so I wore this with a L/S wool baselayer. Mountain grey is a killer color, my favorite from this brand thus far. I really like they style and I got several compliments.

I bought this jacket a month ago after trying it on at a Fjallraven store. The jacket runs a little large as I almost could fit into a small at 190 lbs and 6ft. I settled with a medium and it fits very nicely, not too tight across the shoulders and back as many jackets are. I use this jacket fishing and hiking in the back country of Vermont. Even the g1000 light is tough enough to push through thick woods without being fazed by sharp branches. This is the jacket I have been looking for, good looking and functional, tough material, waterproof( add more wax for heavy rain) and not too heavy. Bought in the dark olive color, very nice and could serve well as a hunting jacket in some situations. Hood is large and has good structure but can also be sinched down in two directions. I will definately be buying from Fjallraven again.

This jacket has become my favorite jacket for everyday wear. It's stylish enough for daily use, but the fabric is tough enough to hold up in the bush without punctures or tears. I 've also gotten it pretty dirty with dust and mud, and it has cleaned easily. I was expecting to use the jacket in milder temps, but I 've discovered that with a baselayer and a sweater underneath( and a nice coat of Greenland wax on the jacket) it performs very well on the coldest Michigan mornings. When using it in milder temps, each of the pockets is vented all the way through the jacket, so you can simply open up each pocket to allow airflow. 5'11, 175#- purchased a medium in the dark gray. Perfect fit for me( not baggy, but not restrictive), though the arms are a bit long.

Whether I 'm doing multi- day treks or exploring new cities, it's great at everything. The cut is perfect. I 'm English but perhaps I have a Swedish body. I have finally found a jacket with perfect length sleeves! The articulation is great, it has a decent hood that does n't get in the way, and there is a thoughtful layout to the pockets. I have also introduced two of my friends to Fjallraven jackets, and they adore them. As long as Fjallraven keeps this cut/sleeve length, they have a faithful customer for life right here.

At 6 ’ 1 ” 185 the large was too tight in the sleeves and the shoulders. It felt small. I exchanged for the x- large and the fit was much better. The sleeves were a bit long but covers my wrists so not too long. I like this a lot and I see it getting a lot of use.

I love the longer sleeves. I 'm 6' 1 '' and appreciate the longer length of the Large Tall size. If the sleeves are too long for you, maybe roll them up or add another closure to the wrist snap so you can button it tighter. Do n't take away a great feature from those of us that need it. I do agree, however, that the zipper could be higher quality.

[ This jacket caught my eye because of its' bright colors and classic, yet uniquely new design. I love the bugaboo embroidery on the back as well. But the biggest selling point for me with this jacket is its' versatility. I am easily kept warm in New York winter with the full coat, but on days when it's milder, I love that I can easily just take off the blue outer shell and only use the inner piece-- which is also a great stand alone jacket. It fits true to size and looks like how it does on the website. I 'm 5' 3 '' and 135 lbs and bought a Medium and it fits great. Not oversized or too tight anywhere. But it is form fitting. So if you like a baggier look and feel, I 'd go up a size. The quality of material and the zippers is excellent, and it's really easy to put the jacket back together if you choose to separate the layers. The only things that would make this jacket better for me is if there was a hood for the rain/snow, although the high neck helps a lot. Aside from that I wish the zippers did n't zip from the bottom up in case something falls out; but to be fair, nothing has fallen out before.

I bought this jacket to replace a jacket that was too small. This jacket has many pockets that are deep to put large gloves and hats or a large wallet. You could even put snacks for the trails for a mid stop snack. It keeps you warm without having to layer up underneath on extreemly cold days.
