This was a replacement pair for my old ones that had done me a good 10 years' service before the left zipper slide broke. I am 5' 2 '' and really appreciate Marmot making full- zip pants in `` short. '' Because I live in an arid region, I use these mostly in winter for backcountry ski touring, layered over a pair of thermal bottoms. Aside from my unfortunate experience with the previous zipper slide, I do like the robustness of the zipper teeth. The water repellency of the fabric needs to be renewed every once in a while with a spray- on product. I have never been wet on the inside. Good fit, relaxed legs( 5' 2 '', 125 lb. wear M- short). I prefer light colors for visibility in stormy conditions, so I got the white/tan one. The internal drawstring at the waist is flattering. The hood WILL NOT blow down in wind. I wish they did n't use so much velcro on the front tab covering the zipper, but I do like the low profile effect of it, so it's a wash. I am 5' 8 '', 125# and I got the small.

This is a great waterproof, wind blocking rain coat. I have already worn it quite a few times. Strong Velcro too. Pros: I ’ m 5 ’ 125- 130 lb. It is not too long on me. Which is a problem when you are short. Sits just below the hips. Velcro on the sleeves cuffs is a plus because the arms are a little long& it keeps the wind out. Ordered a medium& can still wear a light weight sweater under it. Cons: Would be nice if it had a two way zipper for getting in& out of car& an inside pocket.

I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

I bought this for a trip to Paris, France and Tromso, Norway. I also bought the men's version for my son. I wore it as an outer layer in Paris( highs were low 50s). It rained a bit, and I was happy with the waterproof material. In Tromso, I wore it as a mid- layer under a thermal suit. We were in the Arctic Circle in freezing temperatures to see the Northern Lights. It compressed well and was not bulky to pack. You can also use it as a pillow( it can fold within itself). The jacket is lightweight and is thin. It's not a bulky, puffy jacket. If you 're looking for a slightly heavier jacket, then the next weight up is the Lätt( X- Lätt is this lighter one). Although I got it to travel, I still wear it on the `` cold '' days in Florida because it is so cozy. I 've washed it a few times with no issues. It's European sizing, so consider the next size up.

My only problem is that I 'm kind of a hard fit right now and I did n't want them to be too small so they are a bit too big. But that's completely my fault. Halfdays really delivered with the amount of pockets in this jacket! It's comfortable and surprisingly light weight while still being warm enough for spring hiking. The fabric seems very durable and( fingers crossed) has n't stained. It does run big, but I liked the look so I stuck with my normal size. As long as you do n't have a broad back, you could definitely size down.

I have this jacket in multiple colours because of how versatile and great it is. It is very lightweight and does n't feel like anything when it's on but provides a surprising amount of warmth on chilly days. It's nice enough to put over a dress and wear to grab lunch or do some shopping, but it also holds its own on day treks in the forests.

I bought this in the early summer bc I was in desperate need of a new rain jacket( my old one was literally crumbling apart!). This past weekend I assisted in the rescue 7 people who were capsized in a pontoon boat. I dove into the water with phone and all in the pocket of this jacket. After the scary event ended I took my phone out of my pocket and was shocked to still see the phone screen activated! The phone still needed about 7 hours to completely dry out and let me charge it but it ’s completely fine now. Obviously this jacket isn ’ t meant to be submerged but the saving the phone of it all felt worth mentioning. I think Fjällräven really succeeded it balancing the comfortability of tights with the durability required for trekking in forests. These are a perfect combination of the two- flattering and well fitting tights that hold up to the scuffing and scratching that comes with trekking through a natural environment. These are the most versatile winter pants I 've ever owned. The combination of breathable and fleecy warm fabric makes them wearable while traveling and perfect for most any winter adventure when you arrive. I use these pants when hiking and camping in cold/damp weather. The fleece liner feels so comfy against the legs, and the outer shell is durable. These pants are extremely flattering, but I am not a curvy girl... I 'm more straight- shaped. I could see why a curvy figure would have some issues with the waistband. They are nice and stretchy, just like the Ferossi pants, but with fleece lining to keep you warm when cold weather hiking. I love the fit-- they have a slightly high waist, which was not obvious to me from the pictures, and I like that so much better than the low rise I find on most hiking pants. Another reviewer complained about the fit, but for me, a more curvy gal, the fit was perfect. I also love the side pockets, including one zippered one. They stretch a bit when wearing them so if you are between sizes, considered the lower size. I will definitely be ordering another pair and wearing these throughout the winter.

[ This jacket is of excellent quality. If you want to keep water out and are going to be in cooler temps I highly recommend it. I am using year- round for cost saving with layers or not. If I had the means I would use this only for colder temperatures which I think is what it was designed for.
