This boot the sizing has changed slightly they are smaller in the toe box. I went with a half size larger but I probably could have stayed with my regular size 10 and just broke them in. They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I bought these boots about month ago. Very comfortable excellent ankle support, great traction in mud or soft ground. True to fit size. Buy it!!!!

this is the 2nd of my X Ultra Mid Gortex, I have walked the Camino de Santiago( 500 miles) and hiked 100's of miles across the US in rain sleet and snow, they have never let me down and Solomon stands behind their equipment.

I ’ ve worn Salomon boots for years. Since they dont have the older model x ultra mid boots. I decided to try these ones out. They look nice and seem to have all the features from the previous model. However, they have an uncomfortable pressure point located on the inside middle part of both boots. Which makes it uncomfortable to wear as soon as you wear them. Hoping breaking them in after wearing them over time will fix this problem.
