Works for all my purposes. It's very thick, but not quite as wide as a yoga mat; so if you feel like you need that extra space to workout, I might consider a different mat. It is just as long as most yoga mats I 've seen, though-- plenty long. Comes w/ a strap to roll it up and carry it, which is nice.

These are also softer to work out on and stay tightly connected throughout a workout. I don ’ t know if they are compatible with all other brands, but they seem to connect well with the set we already have. I love the texture both for the look and for the traction, and the edge pieces are great for a straight edge so you can sweep up around them so much easier.
