I brought the Athena hat for a month- long trip in Europe! I love that it packs well without losing its shape. I nest it in my luggage( I do n't flatten it), or put it in my( large) purse while traveling. It's held its shape well without getting crumpled. Love it. Comfortable, breathable, and stylish. Is feminine- looking and offers good coverage without being too dorky.;) I wear hats all day most days, and swap between caps, full brim western hats. This one has quickly displaced many of my other go- to hats! Only complaint is I 'm not a big fan of velcro closures. The velcro does work well, but I 'd always rather a strap with slide buckle for an adjustable hat.

This hat is great for very sunny conditions here in the south. I it not heavy or bulky like some wide brim hats. Cleans well and very easy after use. Wear them all the time when out in the sun for extended periods.

Since it doesn ’ t fold up, I put this terrific sun hat at the bottom of my suitcase, underneath the rest of my clothes. My husband also has this hat, and I got the same size, a large.
