I have been searching for a white hat that would truly shade my face from the sun, stay on my head and that I could put my pony tail through. I wore it to play tennis and to go to the beach. I could only wear my hair down or in a very low pony with other hats( except baseball hats but they do n't fully protect me from sun damage). This hats has a strap if I need it on a windy day and I love that I can wear a low or high pony and pull it through the nicely designed openings in the back. I hate hats but when I really needed one at an art fair recently I bought a sun tripper hat. It's lightweight, comfortable, and easily folds to fit in a pocket and does n't get crumbled. I 've wound up wearing it a lot and I 'm buying a second one now. I wash mine often and it air drys quickly. After months of wear it still looks as good as it did when I first purchased it.

My old hat of this style in Large fit too tight, but the one I just received in Large fit larger, so to those of you wishing for an XL you might like this latest version. I am so happy! Been wearing this hat hiking in the desert for probably five years. Wo n't hit the trail without it. Wicks away sweat very well and is very cool. I have washed this hat literally dozens of times which is why it does n't seem to have the SPF factor it once had. been getting sunburned on my head lately. So, after five years I am buying the same hat again! BTW, I bought two hats. One medium, one large. At 7 1/8 '' hat size the medium was too small. Would n't change a thing.

I love wearing this hat. I am a letter carrier and have a walking route so I use it for head/face protection. I have washed it a few times and dried it in accordance with the instructions each time. The last time I washed it and was drying it by way of the instructions but I got a little inpatient and decided to throw it in the dryer with air dry. I could not believe it but it still shrunk. So my next one will be dried by there recommendation.

I LOVE THIS HAT! I have it in all three colors and it is my favorite hat! the brim is large enough in front to cover my face from the sun and long enough in the back to cover my neck! Just right! I wore it while geoducking and everyone loved it! I like all three colors, but I wish the Opal one had a flowered lining like the black and blue ones do! Other than that, I more than highly recommend this hat for all ladies! it's the best!

I love this hat!!! It is my favorite Sunday Afternoons and I have many others. The only negative is it runs a little small. One Size. After stetching out the elastic band by pulling on it hard repeatedly, it fits comfortably. My head measures 22 1/4 '' around. Now I love it. Good sunblock and better looking than some of the others. I bought the cream with the black band. I would buy the blue and black too but I hate the multi print on the inside of the brim. If they came in plain black on the underside like the cream, I would buy both other colors. Why the multi print? Looks old- ladyish! Please offer all colors with a plain black under side of brim!!! An addendum to my review the black hat should have either solid black trim or back and white, like black and white stripes on the band with black solid under brim for shade protection. The red multi print is aweful!!!

I have been looking for the perfect hat that gives great coverage without being too large for hiking and boating. I have many that sit in the closet because they turned out to be too big to be useful. This hat is perfect! It does not get caught up and carried away by the wind.( I only use the strap when cruising on the boat to hold it in place.) More colors, please!!
