Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. They traveled well strapped to a back pack and if they got a bit misshapen during transport they were easy to return to however you might prefer them. Women's hats are always tight on me, but I love cute hats. I 've resigned myself to men's functional hats in the summer, and I just skip them when I want to look cute. But no more! The large fits me perfectly! And this hat is beautifully made. I 'm so happy I could cry... all over a hat lol.

I really wanted to like this hat but I returned it. I wanted something a little more light weight for the summer. I had bought this hat hoping that it would be an everyday, warm/hot weather hat. It's well made and really nice looking, but the extra fabric on the inside of the crown made it feel a bit warm and heavy on my head. I would have possibly kept it for fall weather.
