These are a good thickness to use in my heavier winter gloves and mittens as liners during ski sessions. I bought these for my fiance( 42 male) because he wanted weightlifting gloves that were not fingerless and these were the only ones I could find, he absolutely loves them. All the padding is in the perfect places, including in each knuckle of each finger, and there are touchscreen pads on the thumb and forefinger. I lift weights a few days a week. Wearing gloves to protect the ligaments is a good idea. After some time without using gloves I will feel some pain in the fingers. I normally use gloves with the half finger which works great. I bought these full finger gloves to see how I liked them. After a few workouts they fit well and I think they prevent any damage to the ligaments. These are good gloves but I still prefer the half finger gloves because I still have more feeling and control of the fingers.

I normally get gloves of another brand and while those are great for cold winter weather, the light use gloves I get from them were n't that great so I 'd be on the lookout for another pair and came across these in store. What these are good for is cool weather and general use. The gloves fit my hands well and do n't have the odd long finger length that I get with most other gloves. These are great for protecting and keeping my hands warm and look good. I use them for quick dog walks and sitting at Fall and Winter soccer games watching my kid. What they 're not good for is winter weather. Here in NC we 've been getting some pretty cold temps of late and my finger tips will start getting cold and these are not water proof. Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.

I think these are great gloves… I had tried my daughters pair that had the different grip than these ones and really liked them so ordered these ones so they wouldn ’ t be entirely the same. These ones have dots on the palms instead. I consider myself to have bigger sized hands so sized up to a large. I definitely should ’ ve gotten the med! The fingers are too long for me and look funny to me. So I ’ m definitely just going to exchange for the med! They ’ re very frilly and work great on my iPhone. Just be careful with sizing! The med feel sung but not too tight. I had to pull them over my hands which is why I sized up thinking they ’ d just be slightly bigger. Overall I recommend these gloves!
