I don ’ t really like to buy clothing with tight elastic bands on the waist and prefer a little bit longer in length. But it ’ d be ok for a short workout. I like the fabric. The shorts fit like a glove and with the Dri- Fit design, I am able to workout comfortably. What I like most is the texture and feel of the shorts while exercising. I would not change anything about them, just personally would have the shorts but an inch or two longer because shorter workout shorts tend to roll up on my thighs when exercising.

More importantly, I love the fact that the thigh area( hems) aren ’ t stitched. My personal opinion is that Nike ’s biker shorts are made for women with slimmer/smaller quads. I have purchased numerous pairs of their biker shorts only to return them because they ’ re just too tight and constricting on my quads. The only pairs of Nike biker shorts that I own are the Nike Pro 5 inch shorts. They, too, fit amazing and I have nearly every color! The 5 inch Pros are just my preference. These shorts( and a pair of Prana pants) are my favorite bottoms to wear and I have worn them in 12 countries( and counting), so they have had a LOT of wear. They are great for hiking, sight- seeing, and everyday use. I was worried about ordering them online without having the chance to try them on. However, their fit is great. I was also disappointed that when I ordered them the only color in my size was Earthtone. However, I am actually happy with the color and think it looks better in person. I have hand washed them, line dried, machine washed, and machine dried. They dry quickly, have a bit of stretch( which is great for being active), and did n't show the massive amounts of sweat in hot, humid climates. Honestly, these shorts have paid for themselves. I have also received many compliments about this pair of shorts.
