[ I love hats and after losing my Columbia wide- brim hat in Zurich( I blame the chocolate) back in 2023, I was relieved to see a replacement a couple weeks ago. I have no real skin problems compared to my golf friends who wear caps. That was n't the reason I originally wore the hat but it is now. [ I own many hats. Out of all the hats I own, this Mission HydroActive Performance hat has quickly became my favorite. It has become my daily go- to hat. The reason? Extremely lightweight, extremely breathable, extremely comfortable. It's almost like wearing nothing, except it covers up my bad hair day. As a unstructured hat, It never gets wrinkled, unlike many other hats out there. I wear it to work, and just toss it in my backpack along with everything else. Even though it is very light, do n't underestimate the protection that it provides from from the sun, not the quality of the product. I hope Mission continues to make these hats, as I will keep buying them. I like it so much, I have already bought another!

I recently bought this hat to keep the Florida sun off my ears and neck. It does a very good job at that. It also made of a light weight material and is easy to clean after when I can ’ t keep my hands off my hat. I have worn it for 4 18 hole rounds and still don ’ t have sweat stains on it, it has nice inside band that appears to absorb the sweat very well. It is also a nice size and not overly large.

My head is too large for `` one- size '' hats, but my extra- large head AND my ponytail can fit inside the extra- large size of this. I also love the extra- wide brim, which easily keeps my entire head and neck in the shade during the brightest hours of the day. Large hats can act like a sail in windy conditions, but the adjustable chin and crown straps are super helpful to comfortably keep this hat on. I love that it folds in half and fits neatly inside a tote bag or hiking backpack, since my previous wide- brimmed hat was ruined by my unofficial folding/stashing methods. A+++ work!

After stetching out the elastic band by pulling on it hard repeatedly, it fits comfortably. My head measures 22 1/4 '' around. Now I love it. Good sunblock and better looking than some of the others. I bought the cream with the black band. I would buy the blue and black too but I hate the multi print on the inside of the brim. If they came in plain black on the underside like the cream, I would buy both other colors. Why the multi print? Looks old- ladyish! Please offer all colors with a plain black under side of brim!!! An addendum to my review the black hat should have either solid black trim or back and white, like black and white stripes on the band with black solid under brim for shade protection. The red multi print is aweful!!!

My head is on the big side, and this hat is perfectly roomy and comfortable. It ’s great for summer! I wear it in the pool to keep the sun out of my eyes, and it dries quickly and the chlorine hasn ’ t caused any discoloration. I ’ ve also been able to toss it in the washing machine without incident( but I do air dry it).
