I just love these pants for days when I ’ m lounging around the house. They are a little baggy and super comfortable. The drawstring waistband seals the deal!

This is a solid pair of pants. I like the fit and the drawstring closure. They can be worn with almost anything. The only thing I don ’ t like about them is the front pockets. I think they could be a bit larger.

I wear these pants out and about for shopping and dining and all everyday living. They are comfortable and look great and are very well made. My wife likes the way they fit on me as some pants look “ baggy ” on me.

I got these online to use as work pants. The elastic waistband and drawstring secured them pretty well. The material is rugged, but not rigid. They seem like they 'll wear decently over time. I bought them with the short inseam, and I think they 're still a tad long for me( 29 ''- 30 '' is my normal). Overall nice pants.

Great pants. Best fitting Carhartt pants I have had. Fabric is great feeling and looking though it does show wrinkles a bit more than I would prefer. Pocket layout is nearly perfect. My only gripe with them is that the extra pocket that is thigh level on the right side is pretty much pointless. If I put anything in it I can feel it on the back of my knee and it gets in the way when sitting. When there is nothing in the pocket I can sometimes feel the lining or stitching from it. I think the pants would be better if it was just omitted.

These pants are relaxed and very comfortable. Great mix between a sweat pant and a jogger. They run a little big so a size down would be appropriate for most. No back pockets. These are throw on and go.

These pants are awesome for winter outdoor and athletic activities. They are lined and windproof, so you can wear them when it is pretty cool to cold and your legs stay warm. I have used them for golf, outdoor exercise and just outdoor chores around the house. The extra cargo pockets on the legs are great to put your phone in and they snap so your items are secure, but still easily accessible. The regular pockets all have zippers, so again, everything you put in them stays secure no matter what you are doing.

These are fabulous. They are very comfortable, fit very nicely with room to move without being overly baggy, and have more pockets than I know what to do with. Ideal for a walk, hike, run or whatever you have in mind, and they ’ re stretchy too. I need to get another pair in another color.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.
5
David W
The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.
5
Daniel D
My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

I purchased these on a whim and have thrown out my other pants similar to these. The cut is nice and has a slight taper in the leg giving it a modern look. The material stretches and I have not noticed any wear after several washes. I am usually tough on clothing and these show no sign of abuse. I bought another pair in a different color I liked them so much.
5
CFink
Best pants I have ever owned. I had a pair of the regular Ferrosi pants, they were comfortable, but way too wide and baggy for my liking. These ones are a great cut and have an excellent feel to them. Super stretchy, super light, super comfortable. OR, please never change these. I will be buying more and more pairs!
5
Carl J
The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

[ Prana has once again raised the bar with their Men's Stretch Zion Slim II Pants, offering a perfect blend of style, comfort, and functionality. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I 'm always on the lookout for apparel that can keep up with my adventurous lifestyle, and these pants exceeded my expectations in every way. The first thing that struck me about the Stretch Zion Slim II Pants was their remarkable comfort. Constructed with a blend of nylon and spandex, the fabric not only feels soft against the skin but also provides an impressive amount of stretch, making these pants ideal for various activities, from hiking and climbing to casual outings. The slim fit adds a modern touch without compromising on mobility, ensuring that these pants are as suitable for a rugged trail as they are for a weekend brunch in town.

Straight forward wind breaker pants with some added insulation. Packs a lot of warmth for not being baggy and hugs tighter to the leg without being constricting or feeling like running tights, this allows you to layer thermals underneath it for the really cold runs. I found it perfect for winter and spring runs and will buy some again if I ever wear these ones out.
5
Jaymilz
I bought this a few weeks ago and these are my fave pants ever. Baltimore has been unseasonably cold and these have been my go to for walking or running with my dog everyday. If I ’ m going slow I ’ ll wear fleece pants. But if I ’ m moving these keep me warm and help me flow.

This is my second pair of these pants. I think they are great. I use them all winter on mountain treks. Very comfortable and when it gets colder, I just layer with my merino wool underneath. I 'm 5- 7 '' and weigh 160#. And the mediums fit great.

Predominantly a cold weather running pant, though I have used it for nordic skiing as well. I 'm so glad I did n't order these online, I opted to try on my normal size at a local retailer and they were crazy tight, like early 2000s skinny jeans. I then tried on 2 sizes up from my regular waist size and they fit nicely with a belt. If you work out and have thighs and glutes that are semi- built order a size or two up in the waist for mobility. As far as quality goes, I like the thickness and rigidity of the material, definitely a nice resistant fabric.

I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. These are going to get a lot of use and I expect them to be as durable and hard wearing as all the many other bits of Fjallraven kit that I own.

I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I like them, and they look good with my Scout leader uniform too. I went with the Morel color, as the Verde was a little too green for my tastes.

My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

I ’ ve put a ton of wear and tear on these pants with backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and general travel. For being as breathable and light as these are, they hold up to abrasions pretty well. I ’ ve had tons of branches, rocks, and trees slide on these without any major damage. The integrated shoelace/string belt on the interior of the waist is a great little compliment to the external belt loops, no extra bulk with a little extra security. One small negative I have for these are the elastic cinches at the cuffs. They ’ ve held up fine so far, but I ’ m always worried about losing one of the little clips that go on them. Just make sure you loosen them before taking the pants off and double check that the 2 pieces are still there.

I ’ ve been wearing the Men ’s Ferrosi Pants as my go- to everyday pants, and they ’ re absolutely fantastic. The comfort level is unmatched—they ’ re stretchy, lightweight, and incredibly soft, which makes them perfect for any activity, whether I ’ m running errands, working, or going for a hike. They also breathe well, so I ’ m comfortable all day, even in warmer weather. The durability is impressive too. After months of use, they show no signs of wear or fading. The water- resistant fabric also comes in handy for unpredictable weather. The pockets are well- designed and secure, so I can carry my essentials without worrying about them falling out. Overall, these are my new favorite pants. They look great, feel amazing, and are versatile enough to wear every day. Highly recommended!

These pants are the perfect everyday go- to for work in the backyard or hiking; even if you have to go out for a casual dinner, you can ’ t go wrong. ... The elastic at the bottom makes them look at it more modern, less hiker feeling, but you know...

First putting on the elastic around the ankles may deter yo but once on you ’ ll really appreciate the elastic ankle. Really satisfied with the comfort and flexibility and security of the pant. It feels comfortable and entirely free. Perfect for a quick day hike, daily bike commute to work or everyday casual.

I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I would recommend and may also buy in the blue colour too.

I bought this pants a month ago. I did the measurements and get the size according to chart size and they fit perfect. Measure your body, don ’ t fall for suggestion size. Color stone gray is so easy to pair with other colors. For colder days the base layer is a must.

Followed the sizing suggestions and they are perfect. So comfortable that I was immediately wearing them straight out of the package just to lounge around at home. Have worn them out on several hikes and they ’ re very comfortable on the trails. Liked them so much that I ordered two more.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

[ I normally wear the Fjallraven Keb trouser but was looking for something lighter for mid summer hikes in the sweltering northeast, these absolutely fit the bill although I will most likely tear these apart quicker than the Keb. [ These are the hiking pants I 've been looking for. I 'm a slim 5' 8 '' guy, and I 've been searching for pants that are n't overly baggy with a more tailored cut.

After reading many reviews on different hiking pants, these were towards the top. With the EV discount you ca n't go wrong. Super comfy and good amount of pockets, not too much or too little.

JGReno
I love these pants for hiking and backpacking. The material breathes well, dries quickly and is cool in hot weather but warm enough when actively hiking into the upper 40s even in a mild breeze. The draw cord at the waist is very nice and works well. Eliminate need for a belt, which gets in the way when carrying a backpack. The draw chords at the cuffs are nice, but they require a plastic attachment, which is easily lost. They should be supplied with one or two replacements when purchased.

After wearing nylon cargo pants for the last 20 years, I have switched to these. They are very comfortable and the fabric is great. I did have to have a tailor shorten them in length. I also had the zippered pockets reduced in depth to eliminate heavy stuff like a cell phone banging on my knee. I wish they came in khaki!! Note that they run very large. Overall, I owned 3 pairs of Barents Pro. The two first pairs, I wore about 500 rough days( 250 each) within two years, travelling around the world, while hiking and camping for weeks in Nepal, Sikkim, Himashal Pradesh, New Zealand or Tasmania, or simply as daily backpacker trousers. After those 2 years, rubbing between my thighs caused the fabric to tear( I have very big thighs- my jeans rip there after having been worn barely 60 times). I simply patched the tears with the excess of fabric from the legs, which I had kept. I still wore them many, many more times afterwards. Because the patches weren ’ t aesthetic, I got another Barents Pro( and a Karl) some time later. To me, those trousers are one of the best investments I ever made.

If I could only have one pair of trousers, they would be these. Hard- wearing, good for kicking through undergrowth and the perfect fit. I have big thighs and can squat and step over obstacles without ripping the crotch.

This was my second item I ever got from this company and I love them! Like the Sten jacket it's a sleek design and definitely got compliments from these pants. As for water repellence, Like the sten, it's worth having Greenland wax to put a few coats for before your adventures to add more resistance. But other than that the pants are a worthy investment for your hiking adventures!

I love these hiking trousers!! I live in the Midwest and I did not know how they would hold up in our really cold winters. They are great in the snow and wet cold. I add a layer underneath for warmth and the trousers do the rest. I tend to be hard on jeans and cargo pants but these are just as rugged and really lightweight. In addition to hiking, I do a lot of outdoor shooting and needless to say these do just fine for a day at the range. They arrived extra long, but I understand why, I washed them twice and then took them to get altered and it has been great ever since. What an amazing product!!

I picked these up for winter fatbiking. Combined with a merino base layer, they are nearly perfect. They keep the cold air at bay and breath really well, like I have n't seen from other pants. Nearly perfect. As another reviewer mentioned, after less than 10 rides, the seated area has started piling. Excellent otherwise.

I bought these pants for ski touring, mountaineering, and backpacking and I have been nothing but impressed. The material is strong but still breathable and it repels water well. Absolutely superb! I detest ordinary hiking trousers- they ’ re always so baggy, with huge amounts of material that flaps around in the wind and discourages quick progress, and they look awful too- really unflattering, and they make men look like elderly grandads. HOWEVER, these Abisko Pro Tights are just amazing! They fit great, they look good, they ’ re hard wearing, they wash well, they ’ re comfortable … and they don ’ t flap around in the wind. The sizing is spot on … if you ’ re honest about your size. I ’ m a 28 ” waist, and the size XS fit perfectly. Note- the two pockets, one on each leg, are different. The right hand side one( with a flap) will accommodate all sorts- it ’s a good size, but note it is too deep/ positioned such that if you put a mobile phone in it, it doesn ’ t “ feel right ”. But that ’s because it ’s the left hand side pocket that is designed to carry your phone- and in that pocket, the phone feels very comfortable and secure, but easy to access. The reinforcing on the knees and bum seems to work well, and looks good too. They ’ re a really quality piece of kit- pricey, but I ’ d say worth it, to be honest.

My new favorite trekking trousers. I have worn leggings for winter running for some time, but only in the last 12 months I have started wearing leggings for hill running and hiking. The Abisko Trekking Pro Tights are very comfortable and warm and have a compressive feel on the calves. They have handy pockets on the sides. I have been caught in moderate rain and have found that the tights have a reasonable degree of water resistance, and even when wet they feel good, and you don ’ t have that horrible feeling you get when trousers stick to the back of your knees. When the conditions change the tights dry quickly. The material has a different feel to running leggings, but that is probably due to the fact they are more adapted to rugged conditions and adverse weather. They have toughened patches over the knees and the rear which will hopefully keep them durable for some time. I am glad I purchased them.

While tights as a baselayer is nothing new for me, I 've recently become a convert to tights as outerwear. Women have been doing it for years, and with more and more options and styles on the market, men are starting to catch on to the benefits. Long have I hated baggy hiking pants. They become floppy when wet, and even the more fitted pants can be constricting for aerobic sports like trail running. I purchased these tights with the intended purpose of wet wading while fishing, and to that end I think they work great, though i started finding many more appilcations for their functional benefits. I wanted to put them through the paces and test the range of activities. So I took them on a half marathon training run around my neighborhood in misty mid 50s weather. Here is what I discovered:- there is a liner in the front crotch, suggesting that these are meant to be worn sans sous vêtement. While the somewhat abrasive stitching tactically avoids sensitive areas, they still run the length of the garment, giving me pause. Turned out not to be an issue, even for the seam running up the backside.( If anything, the liner helps smooth any unwanted embelishments if you still choose to wear something underneath.)- The tag actually irritated me more than the stitching, though after about an hour of running I no longer felt it. Still, i wish i thought to cut it off before i left the house.- i am used to wearing trousers and shorts on my hips. These tights are meant to be worn high on the waist. It almost reached my belly button. This ca n't be avoided, you must pull them all the way up or the stitching in the crotch WILL rub your inner thigh.- the reinforced areas kept my legs warm and feeling fresh even as the wind picked up. I was worried they would feel uncomfortable for long distances but i quickly got used to it. Would definitely come in handy for hiking, wading, scrambling, sitting, or any other activities where you make contact with your environement.- the drawstring was next to useless. Fortunately the tights are tight enough to hold themselves up for the most part, but once the string wears out I may try to replace it with a thin running shoelace. Bottom line, these are on my packing shortlist for all outdoor endeavors. Quick drying, warm, breathable, non constricting, and durable. Works well as a base layer or on their own. They look great, feel great and give me the confidence to be as bold as they look. If someone sees a man in tights on the trails, they will say to themselves, whoa, this guy means business, and give you plenty of space. I would like to conclude that as great as they are, they are still tights. I probably wo n't go grocery shopping or to my son's soccer game in these. Recommend sticking to places where they are functionally appropriate.

I really liked these for around the camp in the mornings and evenings. Super comfortable and warm, and provided a little compression for sore legs! I ’ ve also used them as a base layer under my Bergtagen shell…maybe a bit too warm in milder days but fantastic when it was below zero!

[ Fit is tight but I like that. Very tuff material. I wear these working in garden and hiking. Comfortable and seem to hold up. More color choices would be good.
