Great pants! They are roomy but not too roomy. I bought these specifically for coaching my son's little league baseball team practices in the Pacific Northwest. We practice outdoors in the elements which will always be wet in late winter/early spring. These pants are perfect for this activity and I 'll likely use them as rain golf pants also.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.
5
David W
The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.
5
Daniel D
My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. These are perfect when you want some coverage hiking but also breathability when you get a sweat going. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a solid hiking pant.

I purchased these on a whim and have thrown out my other pants similar to these. The cut is nice and has a slight taper in the leg giving it a modern look. The material stretches and I have not noticed any wear after several washes. I am usually tough on clothing and these show no sign of abuse. I bought another pair in a different color I liked them so much.
5
CFink
Best pants I have ever owned. I had a pair of the regular Ferrosi pants, they were comfortable, but way too wide and baggy for my liking. These ones are a great cut and have an excellent feel to them. Super stretchy, super light, super comfortable. OR, please never change these. I will be buying more and more pairs!

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.

My old pants were OR and lasted forever so when it was time for new ones it was a no brainer to go with these. They are incredibly comfortable. Very soft and very stretchy makes them great pants for any outdoor activity. The legs zip off easily and the pockets are great. Ca n't say much more about them. Great for hiking in Alaska during the summer. Dries quickly. Exceptionally comfortable.

The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I like them, and they look good with my Scout leader uniform too. I went with the Morel color, as the Verde was a little too green for my tastes.

these are some of my favorite pants that I own, I love the material, it works well in all elements. I am rough on my clothing, and I have yet to find a set of pants this comfortable that hold up so well to my lifestyle. They have a classy appearance, so I wear them for business casual work, and I use them in my personal life for hiking, running, shooting, and climbing. These being the zip off variant allow me to transition into a more comfortable set of shorts during campsite activities at the end of a long hike, the zipper is high quality and I have had no issues re attaching the legs.

I ordered the pants and jacket to replace some old faithful ones that have been reliable for years. I 've always been happy with the Helium line for backpacking. Although I would n't call them super durable thats not really what they are meant for. [ bought these for a 10 day sailing trip. we had all day rain one day and the pants kept me dry. I was questioning whether the full zip would allow water pentation, but it did not in my case of mostly standing. The full zip was great for getting them on and off easily without removing footwear. I was also able to sit on wet surfaces without water coming through.

[ These side- zip rain pants fir true to size over my hiking pants in the summer, and over my cross country ski softshell pants in the winter season, which gives them great versatility for year round use. The fabric sheds rain and snow, yet breathes well enough to make them acceptable as lightwt. winter shell pants. The full side zips let me take them on and off without having to remove hiking boots, or take off my XC skis, and the weight is so minimal as to always carry them in the pack when not in use.

[ One of the standout features of these pants is the combination of durable GORE- TEX 3L and lightweight GORE- TEX Active materials. This blend not only ensures exceptional durability but also keeps the pants light, allowing for efficient movement in the mountains. The lightweight construction is particularly advantageous during hikes, as it minimizes fatigue and allows for unrestricted mobility. The complete waterproofing of these pants is another feature that I greatly appreciate. Regardless of the weather conditions, I can confidently rely on the GORE- TEX technology to keep me dry and comfortable. Whether it's a light drizzle or a heavy downpour, these pants provide reliable protection against moisture. It's worth noting that if you plan to wear them over clothing, it's recommended to order a size up for a proper fit. In terms of fit, the elastic waist belt and ankle zippers allow for easy customization. I can adjust the pants to my preferred fit, ensuring optimal comfort throughout my outdoor activities. The zippered pockets are also a convenient addition, providing ample space to stash small gear such as keys, a map, or a phone. Furthermore, the packability of these pants is worth highlighting. They are extremely lightweight and can be easily compressed, making them a fantastic choice for backpacking or traveling. The ability to pack them down into a small size without sacrificing performance is a huge plus. In summary, the Men's GORE- TEX® Mitre Peak Pant is a versatile and reliable choice for outdoor enthusiasts. Their complete waterproofing, lightweight construction, and packability make them perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities. Whether you 're braving wet conditions or looking for comfortable and functional pants, these are an excellent option. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking durable, lightweight, and versatile pants for their adventures.

I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. I picked these up for winter fatbiking. Combined with a merino base layer, they are nearly perfect. They keep the cold air at bay and breath really well, like I have n't seen from other pants. I do not quite understand the concern of the other reviewer. Don ’ t be put off. Because I also have a 30 ” inseam, however find these rain pants to be no issue whatsoever as they feature a draw cord adjustment at the bottom. Therefore they can be cinched tightly around the ankle, making them a perfect fit. In terms of performance, they are excellent. I got a size XS and have a 29 ” waist, and thanks to the adjustment options, they can be worn either over the top of my thick vidda pros, or a smaller base layer. They breathe really well, and keep the rain out, and you nice and warm. These will last a lifetime. If you only want one pair of rain pants, these are hard to beat.

[ Bought the Eco Shell to use over the standard Keb trousers in wet and/or snowy conditions. Plenty of room over the trousers for layering purposes. Nice high waist and tapered leg for full coverage in lousy weather. Normally wear a Keb/Vidda Pro in size S and the Evo Shell are perfect with the same sizing. Quiet fabric compared to Goretex Pro trousers I have from another manufacturer but equally as tough and weather resistant.

[ Fit: I 'm 6' 2 '', 165lbs. I usually wear a 32 '' x34 '' pant. I bought a size Medium in the Keb Eco Shell Trouser, and they fit like a 34 '' x34 '' pant. The velcro adjustment at the waist, and the included belt, allow for a comfortable fit( FYI: there are two sets of belt loops:( 1) narrow loops for the supplied belt; and( 2) loops that overlay the first set and accommodate a standard width belt). Performance: I 've worn these on several day hikes in varying winter conditions throughout the Cascades in temps from the 20s to the low 50s. They 're comfortable, very breathable, have excellent mobility when negotiating steep terrain, and kept me warm and completely dry during soaking rains, downpours, and snow. The drawstring at the end of the legs secure the pant over my boots and kept out water, snow and mud so well that I have n't donned my leg gaiters since buying these shell pants. They 've held up well to underbrush, but the shell fabric showed abrasion and slight tearing around the knee when I took a spill on scree. While the Cordura inner legs are burly, I would be hesitant to use these shell pants for any activity other than hiking, backpacking, or for crampon use during snow/ice walking.
