I bought these in white in XL and then in black in L. I like pants loose at the waist and need a long rise. I also got the short length, which sit at my instep( 5' 4 ''). The black ones in the L fit better as to the rise and volume of the legs, but I prefer the looser waist on the XL. I wish designers would give up the hourglass myth of women's bodies: If one needs a L for the hips, one probably does not have a 32 '' waist. The drawstring makes these wearable. Both are comfortable, though, and very light. So I will probably wear the black ones out more, and keep wearing the white ones around the house. Very comfortable style and fabric. I find myself wearing these most days in the Florida warm temps. Very nicely made, as well. I marked `` runs small '' because the elastic at the waist, IMO, should be about 2 inches larger. It ’s a bit tricky to get in and out but once the bra is on, you won ’ t be able to even tell you wear one. My first time at the gym on the treadmill and other heavy machines, I didn ’ t had to zip here, put the ladies back in place every 2- 3 min. I ’ m beyond happy and satisfied with this bra. Great support if you ’ re on the bigger side of your girls.
