I have a little extra length in the arms, which I love because it is a rarity. I feel like I have just enough room that I could wear a crewneck underneath without problem, but it's not bulky without layers. And it's long enough that it covers my bottom! I was wearing this jacket when I had a horse riding accident. When I tell you I absolutely flew off the horse and slammed into the gravel- this jacket should have ripped immediately. Instead it actually ended up protecting my body from getting any cuts. I threw the jacket in the wash and it came out seamless as if nothing had happened to it. As a result I now have this jacket in several colors. Moral of the story is- the quality of this jacket is INSANE, and also don ’ t ride horses ha ha ha.

I 'm really glad I bought this! I did size up( M to an L) after reading the reviews. The M would have fit but without much layering ability- with the L I can layer with a base and fleece layer no problems. Also look good with just a tee or long- shirt. 5' 8 '', around 150. Have n't tried it outside much but I think it 'll be great for camping and as a mid- layer on really cold days under a parka.

[ I wanted a hooded down jacket that would pack into one of its own pockets. I purchased this one as the description fit what I was looking for. I purchased the `` plum '' color which in the photos looked like a very light purple color. I am 5' 6 '' and 180 lbs and apple shaped. I ordered the XL. It is a bit long in the arms, but fits around my belly with a little extra room even when wearing a sweatshirt. The color was not as depicted in the photo, it was much more of what I would expect from `` plum. '' It is also not easy to pack. It took me quite a while to get the whole jacket shoved into the pocket. I included a photo of it packed on top of a sheet of printer paper for size reference. I do plan on keeping the jacket because I actually like the color and it's super warm.

After receiving my coat, we had some downright frigid temperatures with high winds and my body never felt a thing! This coat is thin and light but do n't let that fool you! It does a phenomenal job at protecting and keeping you warm! I also love the fit, very flattering! I highly recommend the sizing tool to find the right size because these run smaller than normal but the tool successfully recommended the right size in the end and I did n't have to return.( My biggest fear with ordering from brands I have n't ordered from before.)
