I love this coat so much more than I expected to! It ’s warm without being overly bulky and stiff. It looks equally cute dressed down or dressed up. Super versatile! If I were to change anything, I think it would be to have cuffs at the wrist instead of just a piece of elastic. Definitely not a deal breaker though. I got my normal size and it fits true. I 've barely had this a month and it's already a favorite. If you see other review from me, you 'll get that I 'm obsessed with the TENCEL selections, this is no exception. I have no shortage of Carhartt jackets of varying weights. The cut of this is very flattering, these pants weight is perfect for spring and summer nights, or chilly days. It's still breathable, yet a nice layer to keep the chill off. I got black and thought I would regret it due to how other collect dog fur and random fuzz, but the smoothness of this fabric attracts less lint/hair and when it does get in there, it's far easier to brush off. The stiffness of other Carhartt jackets does not exist with this one, that stiffness serves its purpose, so just know that before buying. This is durable, but not as heavy duty it's perfect for general work and for going out. The flexibility is phenomenal and. I greatly appreciate that the sleeves allow for larger arms or layering without being balloons, I would n't be able to wear a sweater under it, but long sleeves and flannels fit perfectly without bunching. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park with this jacket from looks to fit to function. I 'm very tempted to grab the green as well and will watch for more colors.

Purchased my Raven in Dusk last summer, and used it last fall, and getting a lot of use this spring for everyday outdoor use as advertised. It was my first purchase with the brand, and I love the jacket after years of never having a suitable transition jacket. Although I normally fit in size large, the medium fits great on me( 5' 9, 190lbs), with ample space for layering. I 'm from Ottawa, Canada and I 've found that the jacket excels in the 5C- 18C range, depending on conditions. With good layering like my down vest and/or merino base layers, I 've worn it down to 0C if there's not too much windchill, but around there I tend to switch to my Greenland Winter. Not much experience in anything more than light rain for short periods. Fit, fasteners, colour, and design/style are my favourite aspects of the jacket. Minor points, but a metal zipper and slightly lower collar without the hidden hood that I do n't expect to use would have made this jacket perfect, but it does n't bother me, and I look forward to many years of use!

I wear this on my windshieldless moto going 70- 89 mph and it does the job on windblocking. When it rained, it keep deflecting rain. I wear a merino thermal, my casual, moto protective shirt, and my thermal heated liner, which I do n't have to turn on the heated liner at these temps because of the windblocking and having gear insulate the heat inside. I love this field jacket; my favorite jacket. I want to buy a more expensive jacket here, but this one was beautiful to pass up. Its big for sure for my 5' 5 stature at Medium, but I have full range of motion with all my gear on underneath and that's awesome. Buy it! worth it!

Great jacket for those of us living in the Southeast US. was able to wear comfortably down to around 50 degrees F with only a lightweight cotton flannel shirt underneath. You can go much colder if you have a suitable insulation or base layer underneath. I bought in dusk for a classic style yet unique colorway that stands out among your standard olive or khaki surplus jackets. The G1000 softens up a bit with wear. Bought a navy skogsko and it ’s probably my favourite, go to jacket. Worn it a lot and it still looks good. Quality fit, like the longer arms and the shape of the hood. Recommend. Haven ’ t waxed it but it is reasonably shower resistant which is enough for my needs.

Got this in navy and it's so stylish as well as warm. I also have the shorter Heavenly jacket and they are both great. Just wish it had a draw string on the hood, but other than that, it's perfect!

I love the versatility of this piece. l enjoy the vest, especially once I determined how to create the vest that it can change into. This is one of the more convenient running items I have ever purchased and I love it. I also like the fit, as it sits right on the waist area. I usually prefer for these to go slightly below the waist, but this one is nice as is. If you are running and get too warm the ability to change it to a vest is so convenient. This will allow you to not have to drop the piece off at some random location during a race to have to come back and find, hopefully no one has taken it.
