Its is warm but not overly heavy, good for mild temperature change or cool environment. Has thumb holes to assist with the fit to cover your hands if needed for warmth as well. Like this feature too, the holes are not overtly visible on the jacket if you are n't using them. Making it additionally stylish. Love CALIA products, buy them all the time. [ There is a lot to really like about this jacket. Water and wind resistant fabric, lightweight, perfect as an extra layer for those cool mornings or evenings. I tend to bring a jacket with me where ever I go so I love that it is packable. Other packable jackets I 've tried can feel cheap or flimsy, but what I like most about this jacket is that there is no compromise quality of the material- it still feels great when I wear it. Thoughtful touches with the zipper design to keep rain out, the bungie cords at the waist for a more secure fit, and vented back to help with breathability really bring functionality to this piece. If there was one thing I would change about this jacket is the cut; the length is a little too cropped and the sleeves a bit baggy for me personally, but I know that's the style and it can work great for others.
