This is my second jacket. I bought it one size up so I could layer it. Even great for hiking. put waterproofing on this one took it to Iceland and it worked great!! As well to make it even more versatile. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is that the pocket where the battery goes is open to the actual pocket. Needs to be a zipper or even Velcro.

My wife would have kept the jacket, but she felt that the sleeves were to tight compared to her North Face jacket that it was going to replace. We would have exchanged it for the next size up, but she was afraid that the sleeve length and body would be to big. Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's `` short '' I 'm 5' 9 '' with a longer torso and short legs( 30- 32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. It's definitely a jacket for car camping, walks around town, etc. This IS N'T a summit series jacket and is defiantly not built as a belay jacket which I think some get confused. For me, after hitting the slopes and a bit sweaty, I pull this out of my pack, fluff it up( it folds into its own pocket and packs very small) and put it on going in and out of the lodge before the sweat get cold and drops my body temp.
