Wore this in 20- 30 degree weather and it really packs a punch. Comfortable and warm. Only “ complaint ” is when the coat is zipped, it gives the wearer a box- like build and becomes a little stiff. I ’ m sure with more use and break- in, that won ’ t be an issue.

This jacket is an addition to the three other various Carhartts that I have hanging in my coat closet. I was needing something on the lighter side this time for doing some e- bike trail riding around metro Detroit and also something to match the camo paint scheme on my fat tire. This jacket's Moss color turned out being about as close to U. S. Army `` mean green '' as you could hope to get and I also really like the high zip neck and velcro adjustable sleeves. The fit was perfect too, as always. Since I have the sincere `` need for speed '', I was also duly impressed with how warm it was against the Spring windchill temps. I paired this jacket up also with some Carhartt fingerless gloves which is another story but the combo has worked out exceedingly well for riding. After all the accolades though, what stands out the most about this brand to me is that it was born in the City of Detroit for the tough, honest, hardworking man and wearing it, to quote Doc Holiday, kind of reminds me of me.

[ I had a Precip raincoat years ago and wore it for 6 or 7 years, so I thought I ’ d check out the Marmot windbreakers. I got the Trail Blue/Golden Sun and I really like the color combination. It ’s great on the morning walk with the dogs. Haven ’ t used the hood yet but I like the fact that it has a bill. In my 72 years I ’ ve never owned an anorak, and I wish I would have! I really like this jacket and I would recommend it to any one looking for a windbreaker.

[ A fantastic anorak for this time of year in south central Alaska. Pit zips are really unnecessary on this piece as it seems to vent rather well. Perfect for the high 20s- mid 40s temperatures. Handles most, drizzle just fine. The cuffs could be better but that ’s a small inconvenience. I would have purchased a second one if they ’ d offered it in the sun yellow with blue trim. [ I have had it now for about 2 months. A couple things.... I am 5 ’ 7 ” and 170 the jacket fits great it is long for my height but how I prefer it. Very light weight but perfect for the in between weather. Comfortable in 50 deg with a t shirt underneath and 35 with a few layers underneath. So far I have been in 4 rains, being stuck outside for 15 to 20 minutes each time. Kept me dry.

I recently bought this jacket for my trip up through Oregon and Washington. It pretty much either rained of snowed the whole time I was up there and this jacket held up to everything.
