For reference I am W; 5'11, 145lbs, and purchased in size Medium. I live in Ottawa, ON, Canada, and it gets down below- 20C routinely. I have had this jacket for a year now and could not be happier. As someone tall and with long arms, this jacket is a dream! Every time I slip it on I feel like it was made for me, the fit is that perfect. The adjustable drawstring at the waist and knees ensures that no wind is going up your back, but i still have room to layer a sweater underneath. This parka is also super toasty and does a good job of being wind resistant. The hood is also one of the best I have ever had. It offers the same insulation as the rest of the jacket, and when you tighten the drawstring it's then shaped perfectly to your head. No matter how windy or stormy the hood stays in place. As someone who used to dread winter because I was always cold/uncomfortable, upgrading to a quality parka that actually reaches all the way to my knees has been such a game changer. I guess it's true what they say, there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad outfits. I would purchase this product again and again. Please never change the fit or the quality!

I bought this coat when I moved to one of the coldest cities in the US( Duluth). To those who think this coat is not warm enough… that is utter nonsense. If it is above 20F(- 5C) I literally sweat in this coat, even just wearing a t shirt underneath. I have worn it to walk my dogs for over an hour in- 40F windchill and still felt warm. I would say if you don ’ t live somewhere very very cold, this coat may too warm for you. As a native Chicagoan, I ’ ve endured some frigid temperatures( as cold as- 20F/- 28C with the windchill) and this parka is my secret weapon. It ’s roomy enough to fit multiple thick layers underneath and super comfortable. The hood helps shield your face from heavy winds and doesn ’ t easily collapse. The red color is eye- catching, and it's incredibly comfortable and flexible, not stiff or heavy even in the coldest temperatures. Living in the Northeast, I 'm often outside in freezing weather, and this jacket keeps me warm without feeling bulky. After a couple of years, it still looks great, and I get tons of compliments on it. It's easy to care for too: I wash it on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and air fluff it on low heat, and it comes out looking like new. Definitely a five- star product!

I personally have had no issues with zips or buttons. I bought mine in 2017 and plan to wear it for many more years yet. But I do wonder if the quality has changed since or whether there have been other production changes, as everyone seems to find it fits large and I found it to fit small, as did other reviewers at the time. I 'm now wary of replacing it with a new Singi due to these mixed reviews!

This is the warmest jacket I have ever owned, and having come from Northern Sweden I 've tried many! This is the best jacket. It is not restricting, allows for full and fluid movement, but it is extremely warm. The hood is well made and does n't blow down even walking directly into 60km/hr winds. I wore this jacket over regular clothing, without base or thermal layers, in- 15 weather with heavy wind gusts just to see how well it did on its own and I was very comfortably warm. I have horses and they will rub up against me and press their heads into me and this jacket handles it all without any sign of wear and tear. I am 172cm and 54kg and I chose a size small. I could have fit into an extra- small, but I liked the extra room to be able to layer underneath on those really cold days.

I bought this parka in hopes to visit the Swedish Lapland again. And I did visit the Swedish Lapland beginning of January of THIS year!! Oh, my! We got hit by very low temps and were stuck in Abisko/Kiruna because all public transport was halted due to extreme cold.. Temps of- 33 during the day and down to- 42 at night. But it was no issue for me with this parka! It really held its promise and it really met my expectations. Of course I also had layers of merino underneath to keep me warm but the cut of the parka allows it. I am size Small in all jackets in Fjällräven and did not need to size up in my Singi. I also waxed it up nicely before the trip. The double zipper takes a bit of practice to get used it but it's worth it. At some point I laid down in the snow and watched the Northern Lights dance in the sky and the cold did n't bother me. As a conclusion, I am very happy I invested in this jacket. P.s. my height is 170, weight around 61- 63, slim built. Size Small allows generous layers without looking bulky.

I wore this coat nearly every day over the past winter. I live in the Rockies near Aspen, and it kept me protected from the wind and very warm even on frequent, negative- temp days. The hood is large and fits easily over a beanie without my having to shrug my shoulders to keep it on. Bottom hem hits below my knees( I 'm 5' 5 ''), and zips up easily over my big booty and thighs! Quality zipper. Sleeves are a good length. Large pockets that can fit my hands, phone, whatever else; there's an inside chest pocket as well. The material is soft and matte black, no shine and no crinkly noise when I move. Due to the nice texture of the material, though, there is consistently dog hair clinging to it, lol. A crappy lint roller can get that job done just fine. Dust brushes off easily, so I rarely need to spot clean. Highly, highly recommend.

The parka is long enough to cover her hips( she has SI joint pain, so keeping them warm is critical) and was super comfy. The parka was perfect for taking the dogs out for their walk in the winter. [ I just retired from being a park ranger so did my research concerning warmth, the ability to layer& leg freedom to hike& snow shoe etc. It dodges that sleeping bag feel w/out giving up the warmth factor. The high collar& hood fit comfortably. It is an investment which will hopefully pay off for some years as it is not overly Fashioned as to look outdated. Gotten some compliments on it. I am 5 ’ 4 ” 135 lbs& a medium checks in to cover derrière, mid hip nicely. Pleased& would encourage a consideration. EB

I bought the Stretchdown Parka to replace my Stretchdown Hoodie, which was too big due to weight loss. I wasn ’ t sure I loved the look of the parka as much as the hoodie, but I love the following parka features: 1. The collar zips up high eliminating the need for a scarf. 2. Chest pocket- so handy for phones. Let ’s normalize chest pockets in women ’s jackets. 3. I love the matte fabric of Stretchdown. Looks better than shiny down. 4. The parka covers your butt for extra warmth. I live in MN so it helps.

The Puffer Vest is really cute. I 'm 55 ” and average size, it fits right at the knees. I usually wear a W L- XL in coats depending on the fit. After reading the reviews I ordered an M bc the advice was to size down. However, with only two light weight shirts on, the vest fit more snug. So I should have ordered my usual size or larger to have more run to wear sweats comfortably.

I bought this vest a few weeks ago and I ’ ve worn it multiple times a week( depending on how many dark washes I can run!) since it ’s been delivered! I can not rave enough about the length! I ’ m 5 ’ 3 and it hits about my mid calves which I love as it keeps me mostly dry and covers my butt! The arm holes are big which is a plus for those who like baggy sweatshirts underneath!!!!! The days of bunched up sleeves are gone with the big arm holes!! The vest is incredibly warm( sweaty warm!) and the waist cinching option is a added bonus! For those who say it runs big- it is a “ loose long fitted puffer vest ”- clearly written in the title and description!!!!!!!!! I would say this is a must buy! I love mine so much I splurged on a second! [ This vest has me so excited for the the cold weather! At 5 ’ 2 ”, this synthetic fill puffy vest falls right above the knee for me in the front and is a little longer in the back. I love this feature for times when I will be sitting outside. I am a special education teacher and part of my job is walking and spending time outside in the community with my students daily, even in the cold Pennsylvania winters. It is a comfort to know that I now have this outerwear that is not only waterproof, will keep me warm due to Nike ’s Therma- FIT technology. The fit is roomy enough that I can comfortably wear layers underneath while not needing a scarf as the collar zips up to my chin. Along with being warm, I love that there is a slight pattern on most of the vest, but it is subtle enough to keep it from being overwhelming. It is stylish, yet comfortable and practical for movement, which is always what I am looking for in clothing for both work and in my personal life. I would suggest sizing down, as it does seem to run big. There is a waist cinching cord, but even with it drawn tight, I still could have gone down a size for a better fit. This is an essential cold weather staple and will be a great investment piece for many future winters.

[ This vest is of exceptional quality. I appreciate that the waist can be customized with a band in the waist and that it is lengthy. This style has a modern, oversized cut. The fabric is soft and durable. I ca n't wait until it gets cold outside so I can wear this vest. Without a doubt, I 'll wear it over a fleece sweatshirt. And I 'll alternate between wearing a scarf and simply zipping my vest all the way up to my neck.

I 'm 5' 3 '' and it hits around my mid calf. MAKE SURE TO SIZE 2 SIZES DOWN. My husband is an XL and the M fits him perfectly. I 'm a M and the XS fits me perfectly. In case this is helpful for anyone, the pit- to- pit measurement of the XS is 22 '', and the pit- to- pit measurement on the M is 25 ''!
