The hood has drawstrings so you ’ re able to tighten it if needed. I got the size XL but I would say the jacket fits more like a large. So runs about a size smaller. [ This jacket is so comfy and stylish! It ’ ll be the perfect transitional piece for the fall or maybe even a summer night. It ’s very lightweight and easy to pack and carry and would be really easy to stash away in a tote bag or tie around my waist if needed. I usually wear a women ’s medium in tops, so the men ’s medium is a little big, but I prefer an oversized look for my jackets anyways. The body has a nice loose look but the sleeves are a little long on me, but again, I don ’ t mind it. I like the material which feels like the kind used in parachute pants, but it ’s not swishy and loud. What really stands out to me are little details like the chest pocket which has a stylish little buckle strap as well as a black embroidered Nike logo. These features are functional but also add a cool unique touch. I also love that the side pockets have zippers- I know this is a common feature in men ’s clothing but, believe it or not, not something I see a lot in women ’s clothing!! As a klutz who sometimes drops things, even from my pockets, this extra level of security is really helpful. I can definitely see this piece becoming a staple in my wardrobe and something I can wear on a hike, a flight, or a night out in the city.

I 've barely had this a month and it's already a favorite. If you see other review from me, you 'll get that I 'm obsessed with the TENCEL selections, this is no exception. I have no shortage of Carhartt jackets of varying weights. The cut of this is very flattering, these pants weight is perfect for spring and summer nights, or chilly days. It's still breathable, yet a nice layer to keep the chill off. I got black and thought I would regret it due to how other collect dog fur and random fuzz, but the smoothness of this fabric attracts less lint/hair and when it does get in there, it's far easier to brush off. The stiffness of other Carhartt jackets does not exist with this one, that stiffness serves its purpose, so just know that before buying. This is durable, but not as heavy duty it's perfect for general work and for going out. The flexibility is phenomenal and. I greatly appreciate that the sleeves allow for larger arms or layering without being balloons, I would n't be able to wear a sweater under it, but long sleeves and flannels fit perfectly without bunching. Seriously, they knocked it out of the park with this jacket from looks to fit to function. I 'm very tempted to grab the green as well and will watch for more colors.

I have been waiting for a hooded version of a packable puffer that was still cute, and after enjoying other Halfdays products for skiing, I was excited when I saw this in their spring collection this year. This jacket arrived several weeks ago and has been great for everything I 've thrown at it! It has kept me warm, dry, and cute on rainy commutes to work, mulching my garden, and taking my dog on a field trip to our local forest preserves. It has been comfortable in temps as low as 35 and as high as 65 or so for me, personally. I love how lightweight it is, and that is compacts down if it warms up during the day and I need to pack it away for my commute home. It's in my backpack for every hike, and my carryon whenever I travel. It weighs almost nothing and when it's in it's pocket turned carry pouch, it's about the size of a 3 x 5 card and about an 1 '' thick. It even fits in a purse, a fanny pack, and many hydration packs.
