[ The Nike Swift Women's Repel Packable Running Jacket comes out of the package sleek and ready to go. The sleeves are roomy enough to slide on without fighting a watch band and fall just past my wrists. A comfortable elastic sits around your wrist and does a pretty good job of keeping the sleeves in place while not feeling tight. The fabric of this jacket is soft to the touch and extremely light, providing a comfortable wearing experience that does n't weigh you down. Even though the fabric feels delicate, it proved itself perfectly balanced-- able to keep me comfortable in the winter chill at the start of my workout and manage to not leave me overheated at the end. The jacket fit like a glove, yet I still felt like I had plenty of room to move without anything riding up or feeling too tight. There was enough room to be able to wear anything from long sleeve to just a sports bra without issue. The hem is asymmetrical, going from shorter in the front to a slightly longer back hem line. I loved this because it still allowed use of a running belt while keeping my lower back more comfortably covered. And did I mention the hood? Light, but providing full coverage so this jacket can demonstrate the full force of its water repellant ability. The hood was my favorite feature. I feel like hoods often do n't cover enough or stay on well enough as you move. This one had no issues with that. Oh, and the front pockets zip, so you do n't have to worry about anything flying out while you 're moving. There's a lot to love in this jacket, and it even includes a whistle tucked into the lapel that you can use when you 're running alone or need to call out to your running buddy. I do n't have any complaints, but if I had to change one thing, I would lengthen the sleeves and add thumb holes. I did feel like the elastic kept the sleeves down pretty well, but thumb holes are just that extra security I love when I run. Overall, this jacket fit great, looked excellent, felt comfortable, and kept me covered and at an ideal temperature from the start of my run to the end.

I 'm an avid hiker in Colorado. I never go on a hike without this jacket. It's lightweight and super easy to pack. It keeps me completely dry on the trail and works great as a windbreaker as well. Very easy to layer on colder days. I started with just black, and have purchased two more colors since my first one 5 years ago. I 'm 5' 11 '' and 195 lbs, and the medium works well for me.

I ’ ve had two of these now over the last 5- 6 years. I do a lot of saltwater fishing on the Northern California coast and this involves actively wading up to my waste in saltwater sometimes. This jacket combined with my waders keeps me dry very well. The first one I had the zipper failed on it after about 4 seasons of heavy use in saltwater so I can ’ t fault the product for that since just about anything will fail in saltwater. I bought a new one and am back out there staying dry and warm. These are really light too, I can see them as a budget backpacking rain shell option as well. I use mine for backpacking also but by ultralight backpacker standards this is not an ultralight jacket. That said it will keep you dry and it is a great wind breaker too. Can ’ t beat the value.

I 've had many UA cage jackets, but this is by far, the best! Adding the hood is a great idea, but I 've always longed for pockets; Bam! Pockets! Every cage jackets, short of long sleeved, needs pockets! The only thing that has me a little confused is the option to cut off the long sleeves; cover to short sleeve. I like the idea, but I 'm not about to cut up a high quality jacket. Why not just add zippers to the sleeves so that they need taken off/on as one pleases? It's make more sense and functional.

I am absolutely in LOVE with the color and warmth of this jacket! Just finished a Utah 10K wearing it, the weather started at 35 degrees with partial Sun and wind, and ended at 41 degrees. I wore this jacket with just a t shirt underneath, and stayed at the perfect temp the entire run!!! Omg I need more of these babies! I loved that I could fold up the hood, and all of the pockets. I REALLY like this jacket. The material is so light for a rain jacket/wind breaker. I wouldn ’ t recommend it in heavy rain, but lighter rain yes. But it packs down so small it ’s easy to stick in your vest or just wear with the backpack straps on it so it ’s there if any wind or storms pop up.

This rain jacket is super impressive. When it comes to traveling, camping, hiking, or even exploring new cities, countries, etc. You ca n't beat the portability of this jacket. It is super thin and light making it easy to roll up and store into any type of bag weather it's a backpack, purse, or even large fanny pack. Even for being so light and thin, it easily stops water from getting through. I 've had zero issues with any type of moisture getting inside either due to prolonged periods of water exposure or leaks through any seals and stitching. I will say, because it's so thin, in colder weather, you would need a warmer layer underneath to act as insulation. That being said, you might need to get one size up than normal so it can fit over any layers you need. Also, if you are traveling through any thick brush or scraping up against rocks, you need to be careful about scraping or snagging any sharp/rough surfaces too hard to prevent any micro/macro tears in the material. Being so thin, it's not super durable, but it's not very easily torn either. Overall fantastic product and highly recommend

[ Being a busy parent chasing a one year old. It is hard to find time to exercise during the day. I can rarely find time to go for a run until night time and the temperature has been dropping significantly at night time. That is where this jacket has come in. It has been a perfect run jacket for the night time temperatures. It has kept me from being too hot or too cold. It also has great reflective material for nighttime runs. Dressing for my run can be challenging and it changes every day. Lucky, this Run Visible Convertible Jacket is always in the mix. The quality is what I love the most. It ’s very thin and breathable yet the fabric is very strong. It won ’ t tear easily and it ’s sewn tightly in all the right places. The zipper is durable and doesn ’ t snag the fabric when zipping. This jacket can take some wear and tear from both me and Mother Nature and still hold up perfectly. The reflective material in the arms, wrist and other appropriate places gives me peace of mind. I tend to run in the evening when it starts to get dark. I feel comfortable that I ’ m visible to others without having to wear extra clothing or reflective bands. You also have the option to convert it to a jacket, vest, t- shirt, and tank top style. This comes in handy when running in variety of conditions like I do. Converting it to the different styles is a bit challenging at first but after you get the hang of it, you can do it quickly. You also have the option of the hood if need be. I ’ ve run in misty, windy, hot, and cool weather. I can honestly say that this handles any condition. It repels rain, blocks wind and works well in warm or cool conditions. Having only this jacket to tackle all these conditions is very nice. Overall, this is a well designed runners jacket. It ’s well made and engineered with the runner in mind. This was before I saw it converted into a vest. HA HA! As a runner having options for arm protection is crucial. If you dress too cold, you 're miserable. If your dress too hot, you wear out and waste energy. This jacket eliminates this problem. It's great for unpredictable weather and my evening runs in the fall when it gets dark early. The pockets are a bit small and difficult to open. An arm pocket would be ideal. I like the ability to hide the hood. I ca n't stand a bouncing hood while running/ stretching. The vest is great when I 've warmed up and need to cool off. I also used the vest inside the jacket as a pocket for my water bladder. I know it's not what it was made for but it works great! Halfdays really delivered with the amount of pockets in this jacket! It's comfortable and surprisingly light weight while still being warm enough for spring hiking. The fabric seems very durable and( fingers crossed) has n't stained. It does run big, but I liked the look so I stuck with my normal size. As long as you do n't have a broad back, you could definitely size down.
