Perfect for everyday use in the summer to block the sun and in the spring. The fit is perfect and the material is made with supreme material. Love, love love.

I do n't know what dark wizard lord Cotopaxi made a deal with to find this space material, but it is the softest thing I 've ever had on my body, and I 've had literal baby faces on my body before. It's so comfortable I want to wear it even when it's crazy hot outside, and unsurprisingly it's cool and cozy even then. I bought one in all three colors available and no I 'm not embarrassed about that in the least.

Very good for days in the 60s or to have handy for days in the 70s when it cools down.

This jacket is great, it reminds me of the older version of this called the Paray but this one is a little more stretchy, the sleeves were a little baggy and longer than normal so I went down to a medium. The snap button is awesome for arm mobility for tennis and venting.
5
Anand N.
Bought the seed color in Medium. Runs true to size. Photo green was a bit darker than the actual one. Would be good to see more colors as options. Fits well and i have been using it this spring for some of the local hikes in the bay area. So far so good. Will have to see how it holds up for the road ahead.

A great lightweight jacket to wear on an very cool morning or evening. Made from tightly woven nylon, it provides good ventilation to prevent sweating while providing protection from the rain. And, like all my gear that I wear in foul weather, I plan to spray it with additional waterproofing spray.

Get caught above the tree line with a raging snow storm today in the Rockies with this jacket as an outer layer. It kept the wind and water out in 50mph wind which allowed me to keep moving down the tree line to seek safety.

I 'm an avid hiker in Colorado. I never go on a hike without this jacket. It's lightweight and super easy to pack. It keeps me completely dry on the trail and works great as a windbreaker as well. Very easy to layer on colder days. I started with just black, and have purchased two more colors since my first one 5 years ago. I 'm 5' 11 '' and 195 lbs, and the medium works well for me.

I ’ ve had two of these now over the last 5- 6 years. I do a lot of saltwater fishing on the Northern California coast and this involves actively wading up to my waste in saltwater sometimes. This jacket combined with my waders keeps me dry very well. The first one I had the zipper failed on it after about 4 seasons of heavy use in saltwater so I can ’ t fault the product for that since just about anything will fail in saltwater. I bought a new one and am back out there staying dry and warm. These are really light too, I can see them as a budget backpacking rain shell option as well. I use mine for backpacking also but by ultralight backpacker standards this is not an ultralight jacket. That said it will keep you dry and it is a great wind breaker too. Can ’ t beat the value.

So I have n't gotten to wear it for fishing yet as it's still very wintery here in Montana but just trying it on and wearing it around the house, I absolutely love it. The feel is soo much better than any rain jacket I 've ever had! It fits great, not baggy and not tight. If you 're looking for a great rain jacket that is n't super loud, this is it!
5
Kimberly
I was searching for a new rain jacket and I wanted one that was n't as loud as some other brands tend to be. The moment I got my hands on this one, I was completely smitten. I 'm not sure how they managed to make this rain jacket both soft and waterproof, but it's seriously out of this world. While I have n't had the chance to test it out in the rain yet, I did use it as a shell while skiing on Super Bowl Sunday. And, not only did it keep me dry, but it also received many compliments. Pretty pumped about this purchase!

This rain jacket is super impressive. When it comes to traveling, camping, hiking, or even exploring new cities, countries, etc. You ca n't beat the portability of this jacket. It is super thin and light making it easy to roll up and store into any type of bag weather it's a backpack, purse, or even large fanny pack. Even for being so light and thin, it easily stops water from getting through. I 've had zero issues with any type of moisture getting inside either due to prolonged periods of water exposure or leaks through any seals and stitching. I will say, because it's so thin, in colder weather, you would need a warmer layer underneath to act as insulation. That being said, you might need to get one size up than normal so it can fit over any layers you need. Also, if you are traveling through any thick brush or scraping up against rocks, you need to be careful about scraping or snagging any sharp/rough surfaces too hard to prevent any micro/macro tears in the material. Being so thin, it's not super durable, but it's not very easily torn either. Overall fantastic product and highly recommend

This is a super light, rain shedding jacket. Is it 100% water proof? No, but no rain jacket is. It ’s breathable, and with proper mid layer moister management, you can hike all day in the rain and be as dry as you would be in any other rain jacket. Pairs great with alpha direct layer underneath.

Lucas T.
I 'm a big jacket person, I have one for just about every weather situation and this is my go to in the spring and summer. It's really effective at blocking wind while I 'm biking, I 'll layer a fleece if it's chilly. During the summer it's the perfect weight for cool nights and keeping bugs off of you without overheating, it has light water resistance so this is definitely not a `` rain jacket '' but it does dry super fast if it gets wet. It packs down very small and also the perfect travel companion.

Dean S.
Material is flexible and light, breathes and cuts the wind. I 'm 6- foot- 2 and 160 pounds, and glad I got the XL size, even though the sizer suggested L.

Oregon C
I purchased one of these in Copenhagen 4 years ago, and have worn it on the beach in Oregon at least 500 times. There are no signs of fraying, material is still strong, zippers work great. If it rains, or excess wind demands it, the hood fits well and tightens with clever elastic locking adjusters. The length is just right for me, not too long like some. Chest pocket is perfect for keeping my wallet/ID. I have collected rocks over the years and just put them in the side pocket, and they are still strong. Light weight but excellent in windy conditions. I do n't need to replace it but after 4 years it's looking a bit faded so I ordered another one in a different color and it's on the way. Expect the new one is the same great jacket. Thank you Fjall Raven. In my entire life I do n't think I 've worn a single jacket so much, and I 've never taken the time to go online and praise a piece of clothing but this deserves that.
5
This jacket is very comfortable and has enough room to add layers and still allow mobility. It stays in my go to day pack full time. Went to New Zraland with me for more than 3 weeks!

[ Wore this on a cruise to Ireland& Scotland. It repelled wind& light rain and I found myself reaching for this jacket often. The fit is nice, I 'm 6' 4 and the XL is nearly perfect. The sleeves are little long( my size is 36/37 so this is probably 37/38) but I 'm ok with it. The front/back length is passing for my height but if the back was longer( like they do with some jackets) it would be even better. If you 're 6' 2 to 6' 3 I think the length would be perfect on both sides. The body is roomy but not baggy, and fortunately not slim fit like some. It's not the best in the cold and the material has a cool feel against the skin, so I wore this with a L/S wool baselayer. Mountain grey is a killer color, my favorite from this brand thus far. I really like they style and I got several compliments.

[ Employee of mountainhardwear] I have been using multiple Kor products for a while and added this one to my closet recently. It has many uses but what I use it for is early morning hikes and rides. It adds just enough warmth over a base layer to reduce the bite of morning chill. The fabric is crazy stretchy and soft, and while I have n't been rough on this one, my insulated Kor Strata is a ski layer I have hammered all season with no issue. This thing is crazy packable too so it makes it easy to shove into a pocket or my lumbar pack.

There's a reason you see so many really favorable reviews of this jacket. It checks all the boxes. Packable, super light, blocks the wind, repels mist or light rain and looks great. Pull it out of your kit at a windy summit or the top of a pitch. If you are slim and athletic, it fits true to your usual size. I have a paunchy `` dad bod '', so I had to go up one size for midriff room. You wo n't have to, though. I also have the lined hoody version of this garment, and like it equally for belaying or just spectating at the base of the crag.

The build quality on this jacket is excellent. It has a softer feeling, for a hardshell, but this does not make it feel thin or cheap to me. It is quieter than other similar shells I tried on by companies like Marmot, TNF, Arc'Teryx etc., and the earth- tone inspired colors definitely help set this apart from the brighter hues of its competitors as well. I weigh 170 at 5'10 '' and the medium fits well, with some room for layering and a little room for added body weight. I 'd guess this jacket would function well up to about 180 pounds in medium with room for a lightweight down mid layer underneath. Have yet to really put this thing to a true, extended test, but I am impressed with what I have seen so far! This has seen a light, sustained rain shower, and I wore it for over an hour in a sustained snowfall. No issues with either. I purchased this and the keb eco- shell `` parka, '' not knowing which would suit me better. The parka is significantly larger than the jacket in the same size. Obviously the parka is also longer, and has some fur lining on the hood. There is a small amount of `` brushed mesh '' inulation in the body of the parka, but not enough in my opinion to truly consider it insulated in any way. It was my opinion that this took away from the parka's versatility, as it did not significantly add to using the jacket for winter weather, but the did take away from its practicality as a three or four season piece. I sent back the parka and kept the jacket. Because the back of the Jacket is cut lower than the front in order to cover the seat, I realized I would not miss the length on the parka quite as much, and I wanted the versatility of a 3- 4 season piece- ymmv. If you 're looking for a good shell that also happens to be ecologically minded in its manufacture, this is a good buy.

I love this jacket, and I fell even more in love with it when I educated myself on the process Fjallraven uses to create their waterproof breathable membrane and how it was developed and manufactured with sustainability being a priority.

Does exactly what it promises. Keeps me completely dry all day out on the trails. Has some stretch for mobility and a really great fit. Long sleeve length is excellent. Love the mess holders in the chest pockets, keeps things nice and organized.

I have owned many outdoors rain jackets and the eco- shell is hands down my absolute favorite. The four way stretch and excellent ventilation makes this a great shell for backpacking, biking and active outdoors use. The ventilation zippers( or pit zips') are LONG. This gives you lots of room to make micro adjustments to the breathability of the shell and the two way zippers can be opened from the bottom to allow the use the hand warmer pockets of a warmer layer underneath. I have used this jacket hiking, backpacking, fishing and guiding groups through the back country and have never had issues with the shell 'wetting out'. The up front price is steep but the warrantee makes this a priceless item for any outdoor enthusiast who expects the most from their gear.

I bought this jacket for my husband a couple of years ago and it still looks as nice as the day we got it. He has gotten so much use out of it, and as someone that runs a bit hotter he continuously uses it through the different seasons but with different layering underneath( we live in Minnesota). As a more technical jacket it offers a lot of great features which he often raves about after his trips to the Boundary Waters. With big chest pockets and solid ventilations to help him cool down this jacket is always with him on trips.
When selecting a spring travel jacket, consider features such as packability, water resistance, and breathability. A lightweight design is essential for easy transport, while materials that repel moisture can keep you dry during unexpected rain. Additionally, look for jackets with adjustable hoods and cuffs for a customizable fit.
Choosing the right size for a spring travel jacket involves measuring your chest and waist and comparing these measurements to the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer. It's also important to consider the intended layering; if you plan to wear thicker clothing underneath, you may want to size up for comfort. Trying on different styles can help you find the best fit for your body type.
Spring travel jackets are often made from lightweight, water-resistant materials such as nylon or polyester. These fabrics are designed to provide protection from the elements while remaining breathable. Some jackets may also incorporate insulation for added warmth, making them suitable for varying spring temperatures.
Yes, spring travel jackets are versatile and can be used for a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, and casual outings. Their lightweight and packable nature makes them easy to carry, while features like water resistance enhance their functionality in unpredictable weather. This adaptability makes them a great choice for active individuals.
A packable spring travel jacket offers the convenience of easy storage and portability, making it ideal for travel. These jackets can be folded into a compact size, allowing you to carry them in a backpack or suitcase without taking up much space. Additionally, they often provide essential weather protection without the bulk of traditional jackets.
