Very body movement makes way too much shell noise. The shell could have also included a hood which could have been either tightly rolled into a zippered or Velcro collar. It ’s such a lightweight jacket with snap enclosures where the pockets are which is a nice little throwback feature that you don ’ t see often in jackets. I got a medium and I love that it ’s a little oversized, but not too large so as to where you ’ re drowning. I love that the outside of the jacket gives windbreaker material, but the inside doesn ’ t meaning you won ’ t sweat at all in it like a typical windbreaker. The weather forecast showed a chance of rain, but I was determined to get my four mile walk in, so I grabbed this jacket and headed to the trail. By mile three the rain started to come down, and this jacket did a great job keeping my upper body dry. What I appreciated most was the weight of the jacket. It ’s super lightweight and didn ’ t interfere with my workout. The hood is oversized and provides a lot of head coverage and even includes a drawstring on the back to allow you to create a snugger fit. There are zip pockets on the sides, and they kept my wallet, keys, and phone dry. The drawstring around the bottom of the jacket and the double zipper gives you options regarding the fit. I have an XL, which is my normal size, and the fit is perfect. The sleeves are also a great length, which I sometimes have trouble with given my 6 ’ 2 ” frame and long arms. The jacket is also a very clean, simple design that will look great with anything. It ’s amazing how even with the clean and simple design, I still felt like I stood out in the crowd. Overall, I ’ m satisfied with the look and function of this jacket and look forward to it keeping me dry during future rainy workouts.

[ I have really enjoyed this ACG rain jacket. It really is fully water and wind proof without making my skin feel clammy like less breathable shells, and it packs easily into its own pocket so if there ’s any chance of rain, I ’ m tossing it in my pack. It does have a roomy fit which is great for layering but if you want a snugger fit and you ’ re between sizes, go smaller. I ’ m 190lbs and 5 ’ 10 ” and I went with the Large for maximum coverage. It ’s got a nice functional outdoorsy look, but it ’s not over the top with just an ACG logo on the chest and a swoosh on the back, so it really can go with anything. I like the amount of coverage it offers, especially the hood which seems extends forward further than my other jackets. It ’s beautifully made, with taped seams throughout and adjustable elastic on the hood and waist, plus two big zip pockets and another big internal drop pocket. I ’ m also a big fan of the big chunky double zipper that won ’ t get bound up and can open in both directions for easy access and fit adjustment. I really love this piece and look forward to taking it on lots of adventures, be it on the trails or in town.

I 've had many UA cage jackets, but this is by far, the best! Adding the hood is a great idea, but I 've always longed for pockets; Bam! Pockets! Every cage jackets, short of long sleeved, needs pockets! The only thing that has me a little confused is the option to cut off the long sleeves; cover to short sleeve. I like the idea, but I 'm not about to cut up a high quality jacket. Why not just add zippers to the sleeves so that they need taken off/on as one pleases? It's make more sense and functional.

[ This zipped hoodie is very nice. The material has some weight to it and is a good quality. It is cropped and is about the length of an average kids size large but the rest is adult sizing. It is slightly oversized but not fully in that category either. The inside fleece is very soft and doesn ’ t pill. The black faded very faintly on first wash( before use) but not since then. The zipper is heavier than some and has two pulls. It ’s definitely casual so world be great in cool weather for those settings. I ’ d say you can layer some under but not many layers and depending on your jacket/coat you could wear it under that as well if your climate requires it. Right now it ’s summer and so I haven ’ t been able to actually try it out. Apologies for the low quality pictures but hopefully they help. Would recommend over all though!
