It's the perfect fall weight-- not too heavy to feel stuffy but definitely warm and cozy-- and I can see it being easy to layer under thicker jackets in winter. The fit is great, with a slightly boxy body that is super flattering and still long enough on my long torso. All the colors are great, and I love the heathering of the fleece to give it a bit of distinction. While I have n't worn it a ton, it does feel as if it will last a long time, like most Nike products. While it is a crop hoodie, it still covers enough of my body and is n't too short like some crop tops can be. [ This zipped hoodie is very nice. The material has some weight to it and is a good quality. It is cropped and is about the length of an average kids size large but the rest is adult sizing. It is slightly oversized but not fully in that category either. The inside fleece is very soft and doesn ’ t pill. The black faded very faintly on first wash( before use) but not since then. The zipper is heavier than some and has two pulls. It ’s definitely casual so world be great in cool weather for those settings. I ’ d say you can layer some under but not many layers and depending on your jacket/coat you could wear it under that as well if your climate requires it. Right now it ’s summer and so I haven ’ t been able to actually try it out. Apologies for the low quality pictures but hopefully they help. Would recommend over all though!

The 2- way zipper can be a slight bit of fuss to hitch together but I find it's worth it for that extra utility. I love how Fjallraven implements 2- way zips on so many of their jackets as it really makes the jacket drape nicer when you sit down and can unzip the bottom a bit.( does n't do that awkward bunching up thing) I originally owned the hoodie version but found the hood a bit too small/tight to wear on my head and it bunched up the beard uncomfortably. When I saw they made a hood- less version this season, I was really interested. After taking it out on trek, can confirm it's great as always but I will say I 'm a bit dismayed at the removal of the chest pocket as that was another favorite feature of mine on the original model. Glad to be rid of the hood but sad the chest pocket has gone along with it.

I had so many questions about this jacket when buying online and not having the opportunity to try it on first. The first question was sizing bc I read reviews saying it was too big. I bought based on the actual measurements of the jacket. I have a medium that is 22 '' in the chest. I usually wear L or XL in women's clothes, I 'm happy w this choice bc the jacket is a little more fitted which is good given the weight and bulk. The other thing I wondered was whether it stretches. People said it was stiff, and it is. I 'm assuming it might loosen up w wear over time. There is some stretch in the jacket and it is the perfect amount to wear this jacket more fitted.

I ’ ve had this amazing jacket for 3 years now so I feel qualified to review it. It is, as are all Fjallraven products, built to heirloom, durable quality. I ’ ve worn it.. a lot…in many weather situations and it still looks brand new! Regarding others reports that it is “ stiff ” …this is only relative to other, less robust fabrics. Example, I have the Kaitum jacket also, which is considerably lighter and more flexible but also isn ’ t quite as warm and wind impermeable. I found the sizing to be pretty true to size. I scored mine on an end of season sale and literally couldn ’ t be happier. Would ’ ve been worth every penny at full price! I wear this in winter with a long sleeve shirt and in fringe seasons and it rocks em all. I ’ d buy with confidence!
