He normally wears a loose medium in Nike hoodies so I sized down since this looks like a jacket that shouldn ’ t really run long or baggy, more of a tailored fit. Perfect! You can wear in in the 50 ’s unzipped without getting too hot, and I ’ ve worn it in mid 30 ’s drizzle comfortably. Any cooler than 30 degrees and you ’ d probably want to throw on a fleece underneath. The Sherpa is a very nice touch, and I love the hood. This coat is more comfortable than my previous coat, time will tell if it also lasts me 20 years.

I bought based on the actual measurements of the jacket. I have a medium that is 22 '' in the chest. I usually wear L or XL in women's clothes, I 'm happy w this choice bc the jacket is a little more fitted which is good given the weight and bulk. The other thing I wondered was whether it stretches. I ’ ve had this amazing jacket for 3 years now so I feel qualified to review it. It is, as are all Fjallraven products, built to heirloom, durable quality. I ’ ve worn it.. a lot…in many weather situations and it still looks brand new! Regarding others reports that it is “ stiff ” …this is only relative to other, less robust fabrics. Example, I have the Kaitum jacket also, which is considerably lighter and more flexible but also isn ’ t quite as warm and wind impermeable. I found the sizing to be pretty true to size. I scored mine on an end of season sale and literally couldn ’ t be happier. Would ’ ve been worth every penny at full price! I wear this in winter with a long sleeve shirt and in fringe seasons and it rocks em all. I ’ d buy with confidence!

The fit is very versatile in the way of it has an athletic fit yet can also be worn in a dress casual piece as well. You will honestly look at the hoody and think wow that looks to lightweight to keep you warm, but I tell you don ’ t judge this book by its slim cover. They state it on the tag and it ’s a 100% true that grid fleece technology keeps you dry and comfortable and warm. Is it a coat you should wear in the snow, probably not, but if it ’s a bit windy and chilly this is the hoody for you! Biggest complaint about most woman wear is the lack of pockets, but Marmot has you covers with two exterior pockets with zippers to keep your items from falling out and two interior pockets, one on either side. The zipper may not seem like a big deal to some people but the have some very functional sturdy zippers that you don ’ t have to worry about breaking or skipping a tooth. Once again this is a beautiful athletic dress up casual hoody that will fit for many occasions wether on the run in the park or a stroll down town on a chilly fall date!

I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I have an extra battery that I also carry and rarely need to use it. Wear it as a thermal layer under a coat for max protection and warmth. At times I will even wear it around the house instead of turning up the thermostat. I have the fleece vest version too.

My new Gerbing Gyde Zenith Fleece Heated Jacket? Outstanding! This one has 4 heat levels instead of three and a larger capacity battery which is a welcome improvement. This heated jacket fits well, is well made and while I tried the highest heat setting just for fun, I doubt I will need to use high very often. This thing puts out some serious heat. For all day outdoor adventures, I would recommend buying a couple of extra batteries. I did. I would n't hesitate recommending this to anybody.

I love all of Fjallraven's stuff, and this item is no different. The wool makes a difference in the warmth level. Wearing this with a light puffer in the teens is still a warm experience. I 'm a large in their jackets and the medium fit for this fleece, but the large was more comfortable and still flattering. I 'm 5' 6, 145lbs curvy. Love this!

I have had this jacket for at least 2 years and it has held up well. I wear it throughout the year: at work( in the hospital), camping and just out and about. I wash it regularly and hang it up to dry. It still looks great with very minimal pilling. I would get another in a different color. I agree that it could be less itchy but I am not bothered by it. I have worn it layered under another jacket as well. For me, this is a great layering piece.

Love how they have you put in your height and weight for the right size. When I first opened it the jacket was so light I thought there was no way it would keep me warm but I was wrong. The Omni heat for me is a 10 out of 10. Now they need some more glove options with Omni heat.

I work at a meat shop and when I am inside the freezer, it is really cold and it kills me. Once I used a normal jacket without any heating elements in it, but it did not work out fine. My friend recommend you guys. At first, I was hesitant to try, but then I was amazed on how this jacket heat up. I really love it and it is really helpful.
