I was fortunate enough to be able to grab this when it was half price and I 'm so glad I did! The color is exactly as shown. The inside has a beautifully soft fleece layer. I also like that it has a loop near the tag inside for easier hanging. I often wear a size large in most women's clothing, but this was described as being a little bit of a loser fit and I would definitely agree with that. And I feel like it fits well while even having a little roof to spare, which is great for when I want to wear layers. I also like that it's a little bit longer in the back, so if you 're wearing leggings and would like to cover up a little bit more, this offers a little more coverage. Coverage. There are two good size pockets in the direct front on either side of the jacket and it has a zipper closure. I would definitely recommend this to others and would recommend going a size down from your normal size.

When I saw picture, I thought I would have to size up, as I was concerned about the shoulder and chest area along with maybe the sleeves being too narrow. I ordered a MD instead and it was too big in the body and roomy in the chest. My normal size of SM fit perfect, allowing for a shirt underneath.

A Fjallraven fan
I was fortunate enough to be in Stockholm and hence able to actually try on one of these. It is very warm and I like the arm patches. There is no smell or anything like the previous reveiw mentioned. I am 150 cm and average weight for the height and bought XS.

[ I bought this a couple months ago to wear at work over my scrubs. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. It has a nice sweater weave with a brushed fleece interior, which is soft. The style is really nice, and it ’s warm. The pockets are deep, however, you have to be careful because the pocket openings zip all the way to the floor of the pocket. They do zip up from the bottom so you can control to some degree the degree of pocket opening, but you just have to be careful if there ’s something you don ’ t want to fall out. The Abisko fleece is very light and great as a base layer. I regularly wear this around the house on chilly days and as a base layer in the cold. The fit is great. I typically hover between a medium and a small. I went with the medium. It fits a little loose for me which I do not mind.

Probably my favourite fleece. I own two. My first in dark olive is about 5 years old stood up well through outdoors work and chores got a bit bobbled but I gave it a shave not long ago and it looks as good as new. Second is a Navy one bout a year old I save for best. No bobbling or damage looks great both wash well and have good warmth. I Keep checking back for a black one but to no avail.

[ Purchased this after my favorite KUHL jacket of a similar design gave it up…pilled, zippers tore, etc. Anyway, bought the Fjallraven a size smaller to be more form fitting and as a warm solo in just cool weather and under layer when cold. I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ” and 185. This jacket is now my favorite. Tighter weave, no pilling expected, warmer and a great fit. Yeh, the zippers aren ’ t great but they won ’ t snag due to they are protected with flaps(?). Plus there are cinches in the side pockets. Not sure how they work but we ’ ll see.
