I was initially nervous when I purchased the Stina Fleece because it was the first fleece I would own without a hood. That nervousness dissipated as soon as I started wearing it! The fleece is comfortable but not bulky because of it's silhouette and it has mesh pockets for breathe- ability when I am on trails. It is very lightweight and does n't feel like anything when it's on but provides a surprising amount of warmth on chilly days. This is a great lightweight jacket with fun styling. I have taken it camping and traveling and it provides just the right of warmth without being too bulky. This is a great item. It's warm, and a little heavier than a normal fleece, so it has some wind- stopping ability. However, I 'm a taller person( 6'5 ''), and although the sleeves were a perfect length, the torso was too short. I had to return the jacket, and was extremely bummed that there was n't a XXL available for exchange.

I love the Buck Fleece. I got it in the Fall in the Laurel Green color and wore it all throughout the winter. One of my favorite features about it is the collar. It never loses its structure. It's a warm, cozy sweater but the collar, leather details of the logo and zipper, and the chest pocket all give it a nice look. It's great as a layering piece if you 're going to be in cold temps or as an outer layer if you 're in moderate temps. I 'm a 5'5 '', 110 lb woman and I got the size XS. It's relaxed in fit and a tad long in the sleeves on me but I just cuff them up. I would highly recommend this fleece for all.

This is a lightweight performance jacket, for me it's perfect as the warm layer I bring for hiking and being outdoors fall and winter. I run warm, I typically do not wear a coat, this is perfect for me. The colors are AWFUL. How about a decent charcoal gray, navy, or forest green? Something that looks professional and put together but still forest friendly? I do n't like to wear total white because I get dirty, the gray looks so bland and sloppy, like leaving the house in baggy gray sweatpants. The coral, suburban sage green, weird teal blue are off putting, like weird pastels gone wrong. Who decided on these colors? Not only do we have to deal with constant sexism and inequality in the clothing industry, we ca n't even get decent colors. I ca n't stand that this is the women's color scheme for TNF, I am not going to buy anything else.

Solid layer that keeps the wind off of you, the waffle grid fleece on the back allows for breathability when exerting yourself physically. Thumb loops are a small detail but very valuable. If you need more warmth out of a layer like this I 'd recommend the Keb Fleece Hoodie and it would n't be a bad idea to have both in your closet!

I often prefer men's styles due to the straight cut without the flared out hips that most women's shirts/sweaters tend to have. I wear this hoodie as my jacket when temps are on the warmer side and as a mid layer under a jacket when temps are on the colder side. I will say it's very warm though. I can usually get away with wearing it in the low 50s to high 60's as my outer layer. I 'm a 5'5 '', 110 lb female with a straight/slim build and I wear the XS. The sleeves are a tad long for me but I 'm used to it since I wear mostly men's clothing. I usually just cuff them back a little. I 'm also a big fan of the G1000 reinforcements from the elbow to the wrist. It's a nice look and gives the sweater extra durability. The leather logo/ending to the drawstrings is a nice touch too.

I bought based on the actual measurements of the jacket. I have a medium that is 22 '' in the chest. I usually wear L or XL in women's clothes, I 'm happy w this choice bc the jacket is a little more fitted which is good given the weight and bulk. The other thing I wondered was whether it stretches. I ’ ve worn it.. a lot…in many weather situations and it still looks brand new! Regarding others reports that it is “ stiff ” …this is only relative to other, less robust fabrics. Example, I have the Kaitum jacket also, which is considerably lighter and more flexible but also isn ’ t quite as warm and wind impermeable. I found the sizing to be pretty true to size. I scored mine on an end of season sale and literally couldn ’ t be happier. Would ’ ve been worth every penny at full price! I wear this in winter with a long sleeve shirt and in fringe seasons and it rocks em all. I ’ d buy with confidence!

[ I have a few rocklin full zip fleeces that I had bought a few years ago, and I have worn them quite a bit. So, when I saw the Black Friday sale I decided it was time for some new ones. This is a different fleece jacket altogether, and actually I like it better. The contrast trim is very attractive, and the new Rocklin is a heavier weigh. For anyone who has the older rocklin fleece jacket this one is sized larger. I initially bought a size small, and that one is big enough to be an outer jacket in warmer weather. The x- small is now the right size for me to use as a mid layer.

I have the 12v system for all day riding on my Goldwing. I use this for days when I am off and on the bike a lot because I do n't have to worry about extra wires. Also great for motorcycles that do n't have a large enough electrical system plus other non- riding adventures. Typically using the lower power modes I all day warmth. I have an extra battery that I also carry and rarely need to use it. Wear it as a thermal layer under a coat for max protection and warmth. At times I will even wear it around the house instead of turning up the thermostat. I have the fleece vest version too.
