On cool days it is my primary coat but on cold days it fits good under my winter coat. ... So I think it is going wash and wear well for a long time. ... Upon putting it on, she said that it was so warm and

I 'm obsessed with this fleece! So cozy and warm that I want to wear it all winter. Great for layering on colder days! Fits true to size.

I was initially nervous when I purchased the Stina Fleece because it was the first fleece I would own without a hood. That nervousness dissipated as soon as I started wearing it! The fleece is comfortable but not bulky because of it's silhouette and it has mesh pockets for breathe- ability when I am on trails. I live in Northern California so I can easily wear it as an outer layer year around, just pair it with my Re wool hat and I am good to go!

I bought this for my wife as an alternative to a fleece sweater from another very well known company, and she absolutely loves it. The sizing and cut is spot on, and the fleece material is durable, surprisingly warm, and wind resistant. She liked it so much that she later bought a Nuuk parka, which is miles above all the other parkas we considered.

[ This jacket is well constructed, very warm, and a pleasure to wear. ... Chose a fleece because they are so much more durable than a Puffa jacket( how many of you ripped a Puffa?) This jacket is so warm& very wind

[ I love this jacket! It's super warm, so much so that I can wear a thin long sleeve( or short sleeve) t- shirt underneath and be just fine. Great quality workmanship and materials. The only thing I do n't like is the pockets... they 're mesh netting which does nothing to keep your hands warm and I 'm really confused as to why they would n't make the pockets out of a warmer material?

[ Very happy with this purchase. Soft on the outside, more leather- like material on the inside. Perfect for fall or winter with layering. Fjallraven never disappoints.

[ This jacket is well constructed, very warm, and a pleasure to wear. You can tell it ’s a high quality garment. Took this jacket to Italy and wore it every day for two weeks. Never got cold, the jacket was put to the test, and performed very well. Great jacket to have for travel and hiking..

It ’s not too long or too short and the fit is a little relaxed. ... It is, as are all Fjallraven products, built to heirloom, durable quality. ... There is some stretch in the jacket and it is the perfect amount to wear this jacket more

Yes, this was expensive but when I got it, I could n't believe how well constructed it was. The fit was perfect and contoured. It was lined and the fleece was dense, with heavy duty zippers. It's so stylish I almost do n't want to wear it for everyday.

I had so many questions about this jacket when buying online and not having the opportunity to try it on first. The first question was sizing bc I read reviews saying it was too big. I bought based on the actual measurements of the jacket. I have a medium that is 22 '' in the chest. I usually wear L or XL in women's clothes, I 'm happy w this choice bc the jacket is a little more fitted which is good given the weight and bulk. The other thing I wondered was whether it stretches. People said it was stiff, and it is. I 'm assuming it might loosen up w wear over time. There is some stretch in the jacket and it is the perfect amount to wear this jacket more fitted.

I ’ ve had this amazing jacket for 3 years now so I feel qualified to review it. It is, as are all Fjallraven products, built to heirloom, durable quality. I ’ ve worn it.. a lot…in many weather situations and it still looks brand new! Regarding others reports that it is “ stiff ” …this is only relative to other, less robust fabrics. Example, I have the Kaitum jacket also, which is considerably lighter and more flexible but also isn ’ t quite as warm and wind impermeable. I found the sizing to be pretty true to size. I scored mine on an end of season sale and literally couldn ’ t be happier. Would ’ ve been worth every penny at full price! I wear this in winter with a long sleeve shirt and in fringe seasons and it rocks em all. I ’ d buy with confidence!
When selecting thick fleece coats, consider the material's warmth and insulation properties, as thicker fleece typically provides better heat retention. Look for features such as a comfortable fit, adjustable cuffs, and a high collar to enhance protection against the elements. Additionally, pockets for storage and breathability can improve functionality, making the coat suitable for various outdoor activities. Finally, consider the coat's style and design to ensure it meets your aesthetic preferences while providing the necessary warmth.
Thick fleece coats are designed to provide substantial warmth, making them a popular choice for cooler weather. Unlike lighter outerwear options, thick fleece offers better insulation due to its dense fabric, which traps heat effectively. While other materials may offer varying levels of warmth, thick fleece is particularly valued for its softness and comfort, making it suitable for both casual wear and outdoor activities. Many people find that thick fleece coats serve as an excellent mid-layer or standalone piece in chilly conditions.
Thick fleece coats are ideal for a variety of outdoor activities, particularly in cooler weather. They provide warmth and comfort, making them suitable for hiking, camping, or casual outings. Additionally, their soft and insulating material is great for layering during colder months, allowing for versatility in different environments. Many people also enjoy wearing them for everyday errands or relaxing at home.
Thick fleece coats are typically made from synthetic materials such as polyester, which provides warmth and insulation while being lightweight. Some may also incorporate recycled fibers for sustainability. Additionally, these coats often feature a soft, brushed texture on the inside for added comfort and may include water-resistant treatments to enhance their functionality in various weather conditions.
Thick fleece coats should fit comfortably without being too tight or restrictive, allowing for ease of movement. A slightly looser fit is often preferred to accommodate layering underneath, which can enhance insulation. Look for designs that provide enough room in the shoulders and chest while still maintaining a snug fit around the cuffs and hem to trap warmth. Additionally, consider the length of the coat, as longer styles can offer extra coverage and warmth.
Thick fleece coats are ideal for layering in colder weather due to their insulating properties and soft texture. They provide warmth without adding excessive bulk, making them easy to wear over or under other garments. Many designs also feature a relaxed fit, allowing for comfortable movement and the addition of other layers. This versatility makes them a popular choice for outdoor activities and everyday wear during chilly months.
Thick fleece coats come in various styles that cater to different preferences and activities. Some styles may feature a more fitted silhouette, while others offer a relaxed, oversized fit for added comfort. Additionally, certain designs may include functional elements like pockets, hoods, or zippers, enhancing their versatility for outdoor use. The choice of materials can also vary, with some coats emphasizing warmth and softness, while others focus on durability and weather resistance.
When choosing the right thickness of a fleece coat, consider the climate and your intended activities. Thicker fleece options provide more warmth and are ideal for colder weather or when you plan to spend extended time outdoors. If you need something more versatile for layering or milder conditions, a medium-weight fleece may be more suitable. Additionally, think about the fit and style that will best accommodate your lifestyle, whether for casual wear or outdoor adventures.
Wearing a thick fleece coat during outdoor activities offers several advantages. These coats provide excellent insulation, helping to retain body heat in cooler temperatures while remaining lightweight and comfortable. The soft fabric is breathable, allowing moisture to escape, which helps keep you dry and comfortable during physical exertion. Additionally, many thick fleece coats feature durable materials that resist wear and tear, making them suitable for various outdoor adventures.
Thick fleece coats are generally not designed for wet conditions, as fleece is not inherently water-resistant. While they provide excellent insulation and warmth, they can absorb moisture, which may lead to discomfort when wet. For light rain or damp conditions, some fleece materials may offer a degree of water repellency, but it is advisable to layer them with a waterproof outer shell for better protection against the elements.
