Because fjallraven made the smart decision of discontinuing the Greenland jeans in regular sizes and now only come in talls. Reason? Why discontinue perfection it makes no sense. Anyway I made the long trip of going to the store and buying a pair of longs to have sized, but was really upset as the overall pant size is different on the longs, the leg pocket rests about an inch lower, and the crotch area is a bit more baggy and just felt like I was wearing an adult diaper.
