The ends don ’ t roll up and the side pocket fits my iPhone 11. I probably could have fit more comfortably in a Small but I like a lot of compression so got XS. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease at which the shorts slid on and the barely there feel of the material covering my stomach. This is probably the most important feature as I barely like anything touching my stomach at this point. The shorts are well- made and durable. I wear them often when running errands. The fabric feels soft and I 'm hoping the black color offers a slimming effect. One of my favorite features is that the fabric covering my stomach is thin enough that I can cover my stomach or fold it down over the bottom of the shorts and it does n't look bulky under my tops. I could n't find any complaints with this item. I do wonder about color options available though. I 'd like to see them made in a variety of colors not just the normal black and grey. Overall, this is a nice, comfortable, cool pair of shorts that I 'll probably continue to wear after the baby is born.
